Hawk Haynes was proud of Porterville, Texas, a town he had founded. He had left it to go on a long honeymoon with Elizabeth Trudy, his new bride. This was a good book. I really enjoy cowboy books with a lot of yariaty in the actions of it.

This is the second book in this series. This is one of the best books I've listened to. Hawk Haynes had started a town in the first book. The town has all kinds of problems. But most of this book is elsewhere. Hawk goes looking for his best friend that's missing. I enjoyed every chapter of this seventeen hour book. There is good storylines and a lot of action. A little bit of romance thrown in. It's written in a way that kept me wanting to and having to find out what was going to happen. I was one hundred percent wrapped up in the story. Rusty Nelson does a great job narrating this book. Which is the reason I started this series. If my review is any help will you please click on the helpful link below. Thank you.
