Something magical happens at an old rundown factory. A newly made silver salad bowl can see, talk, cook and fly! And so begins Betty the Bowl's incredible journey.

A small unexpected dent means she is offloaded to the sale rack at the back of a thrift store. Ten-year-old Shannon and her family are happy to bring Betty and her new friends home to their small farm.

When Betty is mistakenly left behind at the park after Shannon's birthday party. It will take a Rescue Squad of friends who risk their lives to search for Betty. Shannon makes her way to the Big City but it's a whole new world that presents surprises around every corner. Shannon finds hope when her new unexpected friend Lakoiya offers to help. Shannon, her dog Waddlin, Lakioya and the Rescue Squad, Smart, Left & Right, Salt & Pepper find true friendship, teamwork and courage.

What a surprise! What a fun book for kids and adults! A fun fiction book that combines lots of wisdom, recipes, outdoor adventures, and good life lessons! Definitely passing this along!!!
It would be a great story for young kids to read a long with because the narrarators inflection and timing is very well done!! a great job by all!! Can’t wait for the next story from this author! definitely an original and from the heart.
