Favorite author

Jeff Shaara is one of my favorite authors. His writing is always consistent, well researched with a great story from beginning to end. This book was entertaining as well as informative. I look forward to reading (listening) to the next one in the series. Paul Michael did a great job with the narration as well.

Great history lesson

I had only one issue with this book, the pronunciation of the city of Cairo, IL. it is pronounced like the corn syrup-Karo, not like the city in Egypt. otherwise this was a wonderful telling of the many facets of the battle.

Excellent I thoroughly enjoyed this novel

I enjoyed every minute of this book found it hard to put down. Narration was excellent.
