Acerca de esta escucha
Marc is the Chair of Perkins Coie’s Political Law Group and founder of Democracy Docket, an organization that focuses on detecting, highlighting, and combating suppressive voting laws. He and his organization led the court battles against the GOP's suppressive tactics during the 2020 election and in combating Republican efforts to overturn the results of that election on unsubstantiated claims of widespread election fraud with a near 100% win record. His work continues post-election as he fights against the draconian proposed laws recently passed in Iowa and GA and pending in 41 other states. We look forward to talking to Marc about these proposed voting restrictions today. In addition to his current work, Marc previously served as general counsel for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign and John Kerry’s 2004 presidential campaign, won four election cases in the U.S. Supreme Court, and has represented dozens of political candidates in election matters. Politico Magazine named Marc as one of the “50 Politicos to Watch.”
