New Perspective

Without going into too much detail. This book has help me gain a new perspective on life. I have utilized some of the tools mentioned in this book to not only improve upon myself but those around me, and the results have been drastic.
I do recommend this book to those who wish to begin to improve upon themselves in order to increase their personal success.

Beyond The Power of Your Subconscious Mind

This is one of the best mind-power books I've ever read. It is a newer edition of a book formerly titled Beyond The Power of Your Subconscious Mind. As far as I can tell, it is essentially the same book, though the author may have tweaked it slightly here and there.

It is supposed to be an update of Dr. Joseph Murphy's original book, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, one of the greatest self-help books every written. In my view, it's not so much of an update as it is a commentary on Dr. Murphy's original book. The quoted passages from Dr. Murphy's book appear to be unaltered.

It is rare in my experience that "updated" versions of classic self-help works are ever very good. This is certainly one of the exceptions, and a most welcome one at that. I hope that it will serve as an introduction for more people to Dr. Murphy's many published works. I first read the book in a version edited by Ian McMahan, who did an outstanding job. This, then, is the 2nd edited version of that book.

For those who are unclear just who he was, Dr. Murphy was a minister of the New Thought/Unity/Science of Mind persuasion. He was an admirer of both Neville Goddard and Ernest Holmes, and called his own ministry Divine Science. He taught for many years in Los Angeles. The Power of Your Subconscious Mind was first published in 1963.

All 3 narrators, including the author himself, are clear, expressive, and a pleasure to listen to. This is one audiobook to be played over and over again.
