Publisher's Summary

The return of the long-lost ten tribes, a new Jerusalem being built, heavenly messengers from beyond this life.... It may sound like fantasy, but according to the scriptures, all of these things will really come to pass before our Savior comes again. In fact, these signs were designed by the Lord to alert true believers to his imminent return. The question is, Will you recognize the signs?

Great insight and very "listenable"!

I learned quite a bit and enjoyed the conversational tone that Brother Ridges has. Will be listening again to take notes. Definitely recommend.

Good content but NOT a book recording!

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I would recommend the printed book, yes; but not this audio recording.

What aspect of David Ridges’s performance would you have changed?

This audio version is a recording of David giving a talk. I would have replaced it with David narrating his book.

Any additional comments?

David is a good speaker and I like what I learned from this audio recording, but I expected to hear a book narration, not a talk. Nothing on Audible.com's website for this book indicated that it was a talk. Furthermore, this recording only covers about 35 of the author's interpretations of the signs of the times. I'm very disappointed, Audible.

Great for Latter-Day Saints

Thoroughly enjoyed this lecture. Wished it was the whole book instead of just an hour or so of lecture. Very pleasant narration. My wife also loved it and was bummed when it was over.

Really Good!

Great book. I like the first two better though. My only real complaint compared to the others is this one had to much interaction between the characters and the story moved along more slowly. I know I am one of the few people who feel this way, but I have dozed off a few times listening to this book.

Awesome talk

My only major complaint is that this recording is not a verbatim reading of the text, but instead a shortened version of the book presented as a fireside to a live audience. So, the title is somewhat misleading, because the author covers only about half of the original 65 signs. Still, I enjoyed listening to the presentation.

Very disappointment!

I expected a more serious analysis of the signs of the times before the second coming.

covers 38 of the books 65 signs of the times

unabridged? hardly. the audio covers only 38 of the books 65 signs of the times. it skips all over the book so the 38 are not even in some kind of order. very very abridged.

Outlines what must precede Christ's Second Coming

A tremendous amount of research was necessary to list the Signs of the Times as found throughout the Bible and LDS scripture. The author gives references and scriptures for each of the given 65 signs. Excellent in content. Students of scripture will do well to listen to this tape.
