Publisher's summary

Scrum is a project management approach based on Agile principles that allows organisations and individuals to deliver the highest possible value in the shorted possible time. This framework has often been met with adversity as it is a departure to traditional methods, but has stood the test of time and has demonstrated through countless organisation that they are able to deliver more with less.

60 Minute: Scrum uses a number of cutting edge techniques to ensure that you are to both immediately apply the Scrum framework, and to recall the methodology for years to come.

:/

This felt like it was the most boring 4 hours I have experienced in many many years - and it was only 52 minutes long!!! Lol
For that reason, I wanted to rate this book with only 1 star. However, I realize that this may just be an especially uninteresting topic for me. For someone who would like a "quick" guide on how to run a scrum project, this book is probably quite helpful. It did seem to have loads of instruction.

A quick introduction

This book provides a quick and cheap introduction to scrum. You get the basics explained, and can easily judge if this is a topic you want to learn more about. As an introduction, it fulfilled my expectations

Comprehensive scrum learning in less than 60 minutes

Stuart has done an excellent job of delivering The entire theory of Scrum without excess words or fluffy content. Aaron is very easy to listen to. This is a must listen audiobook for anyone beginning the path of agile development and scrum.

Excellent overview of the Scrum Framework

I've participated in ScrumBut projects and am starting to participate in a new team as the product owner. I'm happy I downloaded and listened to this short audio book as a refresher to the full scope of scrum and a reminder that some of the "extra" project management items my organization requires are not part of traditional agile scrum. I hope this will enable me to be more effective and help the new scrum master streamline our teams ability to rapidly deliver value,

On a side note, the book lists several Scrum tools available on the market, but doesn't mention Jira or Rally which from my understanding have the largest market share.

Quick, to the point

Great for those searching for a quick and dirty definition of a working paradigm. it's probably best practice to listen to this book with a notepad in hand to jot down the concepts (I found that using Workflowy was best).
