Publisher's Summary

Netflix news! The 44 Chapters About 4 Men series is being adapted into a steamy Netflix dramedy series called Sex/Life, coming soon!

Now a top 100 Amazon best seller and winner of the After Dark Book Lovers Shortie Award for Best Debut of 2016.

"Oh. My. God. I can't stop laughing. Or listening. What is happening?" (Colleen Hoover, number one New York Times best-selling author)

School psychologists aren't supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered "unethical" and "a fireable offense". Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. Perhaps my gorgeous, cold, number-crunching husband simply wasn't capable of the kind of passion I'd come to expect. After all, my ex-boyfriends - a tattoo artist turned US Marine turned motorcycle club outlaw, a baby-faced punk rocker out on parole, and a heavy metal bass player - were every bit as tattooed and testosterone fueled as the leading men in my favorite romance novels. If I couldn't have that kind of passion again in real life, I could at least write about it. Right? Nobody had to know. It would be my little secret.

Well, guess what? My husband read that sh-t.

And guess what else? He upped his f--king game.

Drunk with power and under the dubious advisement of my best friend and colleague, I began testing the limits - crafting journal entries specifically designed to manipulate Ken's behavior. For the most part, he responded beautifully...except when he didn't.

What a 5 star book sounds like

I read this book when it came out and loved it. I usually don't listen to a book after I've read it, but I was really interested to hear how Ramona Master was going to pull it off.

BB tells the story of her teenage through current life as told through the relationships she has had with 4 men. Each one completely messed up in their own way, well except for her husband Ken. He is the most normal one, if not the most boring. However, he might be the most comical. From skin heads to musicians, BB had a certain taste in men that made for some comical stories.

This book is a hoot and also will make you remember your own growing years and contemplate how you yourself ended up in the place you are in. I loved it even more in audio than in print.

Ramona Master was the perfect choice. Her voice is the perfect age and sound. She had the ability to pull off a great mix of crazy and flighty. I can't imagine anyone else fulfilling this role. She was excellent.

This is a book that needs to be read/listened to

This book was amazing. I actually read this book after reading her series and I am so glad I did or I would have been imaging Harley in a whole new way and not in a good way. Overall awesome book and a must read.

Snark + Witty = Hilarious

This book was suggested in one of my book groups and I added it to my library months ago. This book is snarky, witty, hilarious, awesome listen. The author reminds me a lot of JA Huss in this memoir styled first book. Been married for 10+ years? this book is for you! So many relatable married moments, I was laughing so hard I almost wet myself.
44 Chapters is one of my first lists for 2019, and it's a extremely pleasant surprise. If you're a fan of JA Huss, this author could be one of her cousins, twice removed- or if you just enjoy a witty, snarky, funny read, give this one a try! - (you're welcome).
And lastly, Ramona Master does an outstanding job narrating this book. The narrator and author match is excellent, as Romona takes on the inner voice of BB in a flawless performance. Often the wrong narrator can kill an audio book, and i'm so pleased to say this is a great match.

Refreshingly Real

BB has set the bar for refreshingly real, honest, and hilarious memoirs! While sometimes, it may seem a little, well... crude; B.B. just lays it out how it is. REFRESHING!

Ramona also hit the nail on the head with her narration! Absolutely AMAZING!!

Breathing Life into It

This is my first BB Easton book and it won’t be my last. BB’s ability to put into words the emotions, motivations and sensations of one woman’s sexual experiences from teen to marriage was beautiful, funny and loving. I can’t wait to dive into the four books for these four men.

I listened to this book and while I have not met BB, I sure feel like I know BB from the perfectly voiced memoir by Ramona Master. Her timing, cadence and tone pulled me in and kept me listening with anticipation as a laughed out loud while shedding a few tears too.

What made this book even better was

the narrator. Ramona Master is B B!
When I know going into a book that it's going to be a 2 - 3 day listen, I hope, pray even, that it won't seem like a 20 year prison term.
This book was funny, hilarious, and even a bit sad but thoroughly entertaining hearing about the life of a intellectually smart rebellious teen (into adulthood), that didn't waste her brain cells while exploring her self and those around her. BB had some wild, sometimes attentive parents but managed to eventually chose the right life partner.
And lastly, to Ken, BB's husband, you are one awesome husband. I should have been so lucky.

Entertaining storytelling

Laugh out loud raunchy fun that was different (in a good way) from anything else I’ve ever read/listened to. Can’t wait to see how these stories play out on screen. Brilliant narration by Ramona Master- I’ll definitely be seeking out her other works.

I think BB is a genius. This book was emotional, manipulative and downright perfect. I think BB does a great job capturing her audience and collectively getting head nods from every female reader.

Excellent narration for a very good book.

I really enjoyed this memoir of BB and the 4 men that impacted her life. The weaving of her “subtle” manipulation to her beloved husbot, Ken, is the real star of the book. The emotions of absolute love for him, but dissatisfaction of some aspects of their marriage felt real.

The journey with the three other men shaped BB and I think I related most with how there was love there, but not THE love with the unlikely Ken.

It’s also worth mentioning the craziness of young love. It wasn’t done with the intention of being taboo, it was done with just being a teen. A hormonal one. Oh, those were some crazy days, am I right?!

Ramona is FANTASTIC. It was like *she* was BB. I loved it. Well worth a listen.
