Publisher's Summary

School psychologists aren't supposed to write books about sex. Doing so would be considered "unethical" and "a fireable offense." Lucky for you, ethics was never my strong suit.

After spending years trying to spice up my sex life, I gave up and took to my journal. Perhaps my gorgeous, cold, number-crunching husband simply wasn't capable of the kind of passion I'd come to expect. After all, my ex-boyfriends (a skinhead turned US Marine turned motorcycle club outlaw, a baby-faced punk rocker out on parole, and a heavy-metal bass player) were every bit as tattooed and testosterone-fueled as the leading men in my favorite romance novels. If I couldn't have that kind of passion again in real life, I could at least write about it. Right? Nobody had to know. It would be my little secret.

Well, guess what?

My husband read that shit.

And guess what else?

He upped his f--king game.

Drunk with power and under the dubious advisement of my best friend and colleague, I began testing the limits, crafting journal entries specifically designed to manipulate Ken's behavior. For the most part, he responded beautifully...except when he didn't.

What a 5 star book sounds like

I read this book when it came out and loved it. I usually don't listen to a book after I've read it, but I was really interested to hear how Ramona Master was going to pull it off.

BB tells the story of her teenage through current life as told through the relationships she has had with 4 men. Each one completely messed up in their own way, well except for her husband Ken. He is the most normal one, if not the most boring. However, he might be the most comical. From skin heads to musicians, BB had a certain taste in men that made for some comical stories.

This book is a hoot and also will make you remember your own growing years and contemplate how you yourself ended up in the place you are in. I loved it even more in audio than in print.

Ramona Master was the perfect choice. Her voice is the perfect age and sound. She had the ability to pull off a great mix of crazy and flighty. I can't imagine anyone else fulfilling this role. She was excellent.

This is a book that needs to be read/listened to

This book was amazing. I actually read this book after reading her series and I am so glad I did or I would have been imaging Harley in a whole new way and not in a good way. Overall awesome book and a must read.

Snark + Witty = Hilarious

This book was suggested in one of my book groups and I added it to my library months ago. This book is snarky, witty, hilarious, awesome listen. The author reminds me a lot of JA Huss in this memoir styled first book. Been married for 10+ years? this book is for you! So many relatable married moments, I was laughing so hard I almost wet myself.
44 Chapters is one of my first lists for 2019, and it's a extremely pleasant surprise. If you're a fan of JA Huss, this author could be one of her cousins, twice removed- or if you just enjoy a witty, snarky, funny read, give this one a try! - (you're welcome).
And lastly, Ramona Master does an outstanding job narrating this book. The narrator and author match is excellent, as Romona takes on the inner voice of BB in a flawless performance. Often the wrong narrator can kill an audio book, and i'm so pleased to say this is a great match.

Refreshingly Real

BB has set the bar for refreshingly real, honest, and hilarious memoirs! While sometimes, it may seem a little, well... crude; B.B. just lays it out how it is. REFRESHING!

Ramona also hit the nail on the head with her narration! Absolutely AMAZING!!

Awesome book!!!

This was my first book by BB Easton and I loved it! It was awesome, funny and with just enough sarcasm and edge in the voice of a great narrator. I definitely enjoyed it very much, so much so that I’m actually looking for all of the other books in the series right now, but I want them on Audible because I’ve enjoyed this one so much. Thank you BB. You have a new fan!!

Again!! This is a great listen!

I’ve now listened to 3 of these, albeit out of order, and you BB Easton, are a genius!!! If this is your real life, some of it I relate to very much! You made me laugh out loud in this one a few times, (and then have to catch myself because I am at work). I adore the characters!

Ramona Master is a perfect choice for narration in these! I love her voice and she makes it very easy to discern the different people.

So Ridiculously Funny

This book was just too crazy to actually formulate words to express how ridiculously funny and the craziness that is 44 Chapters About 4 Men. There are no words to define how much I love BB Easton. I love how much she keeps it real in this book, she holds nothing back, and doesn't sugarcoat anything. She has such a way with words I'm not sure how many times I burst into tear filled laughter. But one thing I will say is that this book will be relatable in some way. I mean the psychological trickery BB pulls on Ken is straight up evil genius. Like Pinky and the Brain, except BB actually takes over the metaphorical world that is Ken. Don't get me wrong there are plenty of things that BB cannot change about Ken, but those small victories clearly felt like she climbed Mount Everest. You will enjoy this book is for no other reason is than BB definitely has a way with words and you will laugh so much. Take a ride in the life of BB Easton.

Believe me when I say that Ramona Master was made to narrate these books. She does a perfect job being the voice of BB and she hits the nail on the head when it comes to the funny lines and utterly funny shock and "wth" moments in this book. I highly recommend listening to the audiobook.

thigh slapping hilarity and heartfelt reality

This is, hands down, one of the most entertaining audio books to ever grace my ears. I've never laugh so much and so hard while, at the same time, feeling the heart deep point that was being made. BB (Crazy) Easton is a total gem at her art and having Ramona Master as the narrator was the crowning glory. I can't wait to dive into the individual stories surrounding this one. I could so totally relate to so much of this and wish I could relate to quite a bit more. *wink*
