Enthralling, captivating, satirical and inspiring book.
One of my favorite books I have read this year. It is so enthralling, that I finished it in less than 24 hours. In this cathartic story, the author takes you through her life journey, and successfully transmits her personal traumatic experiences, making it inevitable for the reader to not connect with the main character and feel her pain, frustrations and scarce joy. With a back and forth chronological technique, this insightful story unintentionally leads the reader to reflect on how past actions or word choices have affected others, regardless -perhaps- of the innocence or ignorance behind them, and inspires anyone to make changes on a personal level.
Never lacking of intelligent sarcasm, at unexpected moments this book can also be hilarious. Excellent Audible book choice for a six hour drive.
