Great Resource for Coaches

Steve Chandler is recognized as one of the "greats" in the coaching world and this book is filled with wonderful advice as well as guidance that is especially appropriate for new coaches. I wish there was a short PDF of the 37 Ways however because when you are listening to an audio book (while commuting or on a walk for instance), its really hard to write down all of the wonderful advice you are getting. Some of lies seemed to me to be common sense but I know that common sense isn't always common practice and therefore it's good to put that out there. A great resource no matter what! Well worth the listen (and re-listen too)!

Voice-over artist is so over-dramatic , difficult to listen to. Couldn’t get through it.

Nothing new

Far more a philosophy than useful suggestions. EST and AA evident. Interesting not very useful.

Painful narration and weak content

I have quite literally never left a negative review before, but this was so awful, I want to help someone else avoid the buyer's remorse I'm feeling right now. This is just awful.

Waste of time and money

Has this person been a coach? I am an executive coach and this person talks about giving advice - coaches don’t advise! The book talks about “mailing a cheque” to confirm a booking - who “mails cheques” in 2019?! They suggest in the first part of the book, not to give freebies and later suggest “make sure you’re always coaching; prospects on a free trial basis” completely contradictory advice. If you want to improve your coaching practice - ditch this book and get a coach!
