Political Thriller/Satire

This was my first Scott Stevens's book. This political thriller/satire is original, fast-paced and entertaining. There is a lot going on in this story. The cast of characters is impressive. Treg Monty did an excellent job with the narration, and the sound effects are well done.

End of the world?

30 mins is a tale of realizing that the world as you know it is going to end in 30 minutes. What would you do? Retaliate? Fight? Run? Hide? Join together? The people in this story all have to answer this question. all in all I find it a very interesting story, with the exception of the unnecessary similarities of the Trump Presidency and some of the issues he had as President. I wasn't too impressed with the lack of imagination regarding the Twitter account issues.
I listened to the audiobook version of this story and the narrator did a fantastic job.

Is a Nuclear war coming?

30 Minutes by Scott Stevens is a fast moving political thriller. International drug dealing, cartel bribes and payments, blackmail, political threats, a president with no filter and social media. What could ho wrong? The narration by Treg Monty is very good.

Just WOW!!

WOW!! I loved listening to this one. Scott Stevens may be my new go to writer for this type of suspense genre with his realistic, yet hilarious writing style. Even with the amusing and often despicable behavior of certain characters, I couldn’t help but like them because of their humor and human flaws that unfortunately we all share. It made them believable. The ending totally took me by surprise. The narrator provided a clear, fun reading with great timing. This is a story that moves very quickly, almost like a screenplay - so the sound effects added just in a few spots throughout, added some color and fun at just the right moments. Wonderfully done. Five Stars all the way.

On the Edge of my Seat!

What a great ride! This book follows multiple timelines of characters as they go through what could be their last 30 minutes. Will it be the end or will someone save the day? You'll have to read it to find out. Scott Stevens proves again he can write a different and compelling story! A must read!

I can't even finish this...

Terrible narration. Lame story lines. Don't waste your time. P.S. - We don't need sound effects added to the story btw. Please never do that. Everyone knows what the "tapping of keys on a key board" sounds like.
