My favorite part about this title was that it not only excels in helping listeners heal some of their personal emotional wounds so that they can move more freely in the world, but it also maintains a heavy focus on practicing respect for others, even if you don’t feel they deserve it! It’s so amazing that because life is like a big mirror, if you try treating someone with respect who you were in some kind of hostile vibe with before, you can actually bring about a totally different reaction from them. It’s interesting to discover that when we put good stuff out into the world (even when we don’t want to!), we get good stuff back. And it all starts with clearing out toxic behaviors, recognizing them in others, sticking up for ourselves and working on that so important self-esteem, and a lot more that Lulu Nicholson masterfully teaches us without all the jargon.

This book made me take a good look at myself. Now I see that my behavior was causing problems in my relationships. Instead of looking smart and quick-witted, I think I was more annoying than anything else. The plan in the book seems like it will be easy to follow, and it will make me stop and think before I react. If I can learn to be more patient, maybe I'll appear less caustic.. The book made me feel that change is possible if I take small steps every day. I would definitely recommend it to others.
