27. Miracle-Minded with Dr. Bonnie Shaver-Troup

Bonnie works from her heart (period). She took a huge risk and gave up much security in pursuing the Lexend project trusting that she could bring something into this world that would have a significant impact on many people's educational development. That takes somebody who is miracle-minded ;-)

As an educational therapist she created the first Lexend typeface 20 years ago aiming to reduce visual stress and to improve reading performance for those with dyslexia and other struggling readers. Today, her goal is to make the Lexend fonts accessible to a larger spectrum of users thanks to the support of many talented collaborators. As you will see when you listen, this is a special, heart-filled project for Bonnie.
