Publisher's summary

(The Boston Globe)

(Henry Hitchings, Financial Times)

Amazing Story-Awful quality of the sound

It is unbelievable that such an amazing story is spoiled by the terrible quality of the sound. There are many readers, one for each character or set of characters, some are good, some are ok, but the thing is, the audio is terrible: it is low, it has an echo, it is distant... what can i say? Definitely buy the book, not the audiobook, as long as it stays in this poor shape.

A masterpiece

As patty smith said, it’s glad to find a masterpiece from an author from our times.

Complicadamente extraordinario.

Strange, Brilliant, Different

5 stories. 5 narrators, a few common names, places ... 1 common event threaded throughout. Strangest story ever. Brilliant and extremely well written. I read the original Spanish version and listened to it in Spanish also and the narrators were great. I am going to listen to the French and English version because I am intrigued. Characters are weary well developed and nothing is as you may think it is. A well deserved 5 stars ... for a great contemporary read and a superb narration by all means.
