Publisher's summary

After meeting her ideal guy and having what she defined as a great relationship fail unexpectedly, it left Leda numb. She thought she had done it all right this time. She waited for God, she prayed, and she let God lead her. So how could it all go wrong? She didn't see it coming. She felt an array of emotions: betrayed, hurt, and disappointed. She felt like God was playing a joke on her. She tried to rationalize the situation, but no matter what she did, she couldn't make sense of it. Nevertheless, Leda knew she had to move on.

In her second book, author Leda Porter tackles the subject of dating. Leda transparently shares her struggles being single and feeling like God has forgotten her. She shares her own experiences of failing in love and relationships, struggling with low self-esteem, and wondering if she will ever get her happily ever after. This audiobook is for the single woman who may be struggling with dating, love, and relationships. It's written for the single mother who has raised her children and now has hopes of a relationship with her ideal man. It's for the single and saved woman who is living her life according to God's will but feels like she is forgotten. It's written to eliminate the deception that being single is a curse.

Refreshing

Discussion joining God and and relationships is just what I needed. It is comforting to hear the perspective of another women who has gone through the same experience.

Inspirational & Foundational

This book reminded me of my upbringing in the church which is the same as the author. Surprisingly, upon reading this book, I was/am going through my own relationship battle. I cried while listening to this book. I felt comfort in knowing hat I am not the only woman that has/is feeling this way. The scriptures was so useful!!! I was reminded that God makes no mistakes and to be successful in anything, we must first seek God and obey his words. The author reminded me of times when God spoke to me and said no about people and situations, but I did it anyway. Nevertheless, God loves me so much that he allowed me to be hurt a little bit to save my life. Now, my goal is to be content in my singleness and to work on me.
