Publisher's summary

Fiction but true!

Considering that this novel was finished in 1982, it gives you a very unsettling feeling about the state of the current political situation in Russia post events of February 2022. The nostalgia that envelops people who never lived in Communism, for everything Soviet, is something that could lead to the events in the novel and where fiction becomes our actual, soon to be future!

nothing is perfect

Author has very interesting sense of humor and imagination.
His main character is far from being perfect, to the point where I have almost returned the book before finishing it. As someone who has had a glimpse of communist regime and Russian people I think that everything described in the book could actually happen and it scares me to the bones.
