Brings Amelia Earhart to life

Before this audiobook I did not know that Amelia Earhart was anything but an aviation oioneer, but this brings her to life as a unique woman who just does it all. She is a poet and author and had a dry wit about her that this reader brings out charmingly. She talks about the future of aviation in a way that is almost eerie in the way she tells her story about the flight across the Atlantic. She achieved so much fame, but should have had even more for her wit and talents far more than just flying. The tragedy of her disappearance overshadows all the other things she did. Excellent book and excellent narration from a woman who is also a pilot. History came alive for me and Earhart did, too in this audiobook.
