On February 18th, 1963, a quiet rural neighborhood in Green Bay, WI became the scene of one of the most horrific crimes in our state's history.
16-year-old Green Bay West HS student Harry Hebard came home early from school, gathered up weapons, and methodically killed every member of his household. Dead were his father, Jack Hebard, (37) his step-mother Joyce Hebard, (35) and his step-siblings, John (15) and twin sisters Judy & Janice. (11)
It became the first documented instance of progency mass murder (a child killing thier parents and family) in the history of Wisconsin.
Mickey and Scott discuss this case, the Hebard family, and the difficult and mysterious behaviors and storylines leading up to the murders, along with possible reasons why.
The intro banter includes discussion about a 35-year-old Appleton murder on the verge of being solved.
