INSPIRATION FOR THE ORIGINAL SERIES THE LINCOLN LAWYER—COMING SOON TO NETFLIX

Lincoln Lawyer Mickey Haller is back on the job in this heart-stopping thriller from a renowned #1 New York Times bestselling author.

“One of the finest legal thrillers of the last decade” —Associated Press

On the night he celebrates a big win, defense attorney Mickey Haller is pulled over by police, who find the body of a former client in the trunk of his Lincoln. Haller is immediately charged with murder but can’t post the exorbitant $5 million bail slapped on him by a vindictive judge.

Mickey elects to represent himself and is forced to mount his defense from his jail cell in the Twin Towers Correctional Center in downtown Los Angeles. All the while he needs to look over his shoulder—as an officer of the court he is an instant target, and he makes few friends when he reveals a corruption plot within the jail.

But the bigger plot is the one against him. Haller knows he’s been framed, whether by a new enemy or an old one. As his trusted team, including his half-brother, Harry Bosch, investigates, Haller must use all his skills in the courtroom to counter the damning evidence against him.

Even if he can obtain a not-guilty verdict, Mickey understands that it won’t be enough. In order to be truly exonerated, he must find out who really committed the murder and why. That is the law of innocence.

In his highest stakes case yet, the Lincoln Lawyer fights for his life and proves again why he is “a worthy colleague of Atticus Finch . . . in the front of the pack in the legal thriller game” (Los Angeles Times).

Loved it

Great Listen. So glad we have another Mickey Haller book and that Bosch was included. Peter Giles is a Great reader. I love that he reads most of Michael Connelly's books. Recommending the book is a given. Can hardly wait for his next book.

A good reason to purchase

When I read several whiney posts complaining about the author’s treatment of trump it sealed the deal for me. I’ve read several of Connolly’s books. Now I’ll read them all!

An Almost Perfect Pandemic Listen

It's rare to find an audiobook that's this engaging. I have spent every free moment of the last two days absorbed in Connelly's latest work and, while his prose is sometimes as graceful as a hippo in a tutu, it more than gets the job done. There's lots of great detail here - and an incredibly interesting predicament - and the author keeps it interesting from beginning to end.

Narrator, Peter Giles is perfect for the material.

All in all, it's been a very satisfying two days, visiting with Mickey Haller and Co. This may be the best Lincoln Lawyer yet!

I love it, and i just have today this to me tops the Lincoln lawyer. Recommend reading. If i could i would give it 100 stars. It had everything a book could have. I read it twice, and going to read it again. It ad me not sleeping until i finish it for the second time. I couldn’t put it down. So when does the next one come out. Boy i cant hardly wait. What a fantastic book. Glad to see Nicky and the family back together again. And that was a genius mood to add virus weave into all the chaos that is going on all over the world now. Hope it will be over soon, but don’t think so. This was a fantastic read, never had i enjoy so much of a series than this one. Good writing. Hope i can one day be this good. Thank you so much for this book.

Jury selection/Trump

This part really pissed off some readers but I thought after the past 4 years I’d never find a jury of my peers🤪🤪. He was accurate in the question s one might consider for a jury such as parking in handicap parking, jay walking, and Trump supporters during a pandemic. It was all relevant and made for a great read.

Had to read after seeing all the offended comments.

Michael Connelly is my favorite author and after reading all the comments from the people who were so offended by his mentioning Trump in this book I had to see what all the fuss was about. I kept waiting for the awful things they were offended by, but never heard a thing that was offensive or off putting to me. I really enjoyed the book and thought it was an interesting story.

CONNELLY DELIVERS AGAIN!

The “Lincoln Lawyer” is back. This time Micky Haller is fighting for his own innocence. If you are a fan of Michael Connelly’s Harry Bosch and Micky Haller series, you will absolutely love this latest installment. In an era when ANYONE can get a book deal, flooding your libraries with subpar novels, it is so great to see that there are authors that still exist who aren’t relying on fleeting fame from reality shows, the music business or stand-up comedy. Mystery crime writers like Connelly must take the time to CREATE believable characters and interesting plot twists. Connelly has delivered over 2 dozen great crime thrillers, most of which I own in audiobook form. If you want an exciting can’t-put-it-down story, this is the ticket!

Fast paced

This is Michael Conley at his best. Fast-moving, intriguing, and most interesting court work. I rate this is one of his best. Also, familiar characters who continue To Play an integral part of the whole work.
