What You’ll Learn
This course includes Lessons 1-5 from the Spanish Level 1 program featuring 2.5 hours of language instruction. Each lesson provides 30 minutes of spoken language practice, with an introductory conversation, and new vocabulary and structures. I use pimsleur primarily on my phone and your title design leaves much to be desired. it's impossible to see the level and so one must shuffle through all the titles to get to the next appropriate section (eg: Pimsleur Spanish Le.. and it cuts off so you can't see what the level is and have to guess).
This is a page design flaw that is incredibly inconvenient. Please fix!!

otherwise, I love Pimsleur. It's a slow process, but if you are consistent, it's remarkably effective. I finished all three levels of Pimsleur French before traveling to Quebec and it brought me up to confident conversational. It's an excellent starting point for language acquisition (or ending point if you can do 5 levels and are using it primarily for travel).

Love this audiobook learning method

I'm in the process of learning both Mandarin Chinese and Spanish through these Pimsleur audiobooks and I find the daily pace of 30 minute lessons (usually on my dog walks) working for me. Usually from lesson 3 onwards I repeat each lesson once so it sticks in my mind, so I average 1 lesson per 2 days/sessions. At first I found there wasn't enough vocabulary being used or taught in each lesson but as I advance, I feel that it's just the right amount so I don't get overwhelmed and lose confidence.

Unlike the Chinese lessons, the Spanish curriculum includes an additional reading of a vocab list that's added after every lesson since it uses the roman alphabet as opposed to Chinese characters that are harder to explain. All they do so far is teach you the pronunciation of each word and you can scroll to the next page for the translations yourself. No quizzing.

I easily found the PDF on the app when I clicked on those 3 dots at the top right of the screen when the audiobook is opened (3 dots or lines usually indicate a menu drop down of sorts). You can view it through the app but I prefer using my own PDF reader app as it's easier to scroll through. You don't have to stop driving or walking or doing whatever physical activity to learn as you can go back to the vocab list later. It helps me when I can visualize the spelling of the words when I recite the phrases in the lesson.

Overall I love the Pimsleur method and I wish I started this at the beginning of the Covid shutdown instead of waiting so long.

Helping me with my bucket list

I like this method of learning. Think about it that is the way toddlers learn their language. I am picking it up pretty good, at 50 that is not an easy task. you can review as much as you need.

Story is repetitive

story is very repetitive, but it not really a story book, it's a language leaning book.

A good program

I learned a few words and will have to keep practicing. I followed along with the program, but in the end I’m not a master. I will have to go through the course again.
