I had great history teachers in both high school and college and actually grade school as well (thanks to the wonderful nuns of St. Augustine grade school). Since then I have always enjoyed reading history. My kids (all 4 of them) have never shown much interest in history. Mr. Duncan reminds me of my great history teachers. I am sure that, if they had time to read (The Beginning of the End of the Roman Empire [Republic?] whatever) and then listen to The History of Rome and then listen to Revolutions, they might begin to have an interest in history. But they are now actually too busy with career and family to do that. So, I will await the next episode of Revolutions without having anyone to discuss the last episode with and think about pre-ordering the Lafayette book. Thanks to Mr. Duncan for this great podcast.
