I wrote this mnemonic guide as an audiobook first to help you remember pharmacology drug names and principles quickly. While in the classroom your professors might say memorization doesn't matter, but you can't bring outside material to the board exam, so for this test, you do need to work on memory training. You already know the consequences of failing a class or board exam, so let's make sure that doesn't happen by getting pharmacology organized in your head once and for all.

Your graduate work was on bacterial evolution, but now you're lecturing to 200 freshmen on primate social life. You've taught Kant for twenty years, but now you're team-teaching a new course on "Ethics and the Internet". The personality theorist retired and wasn't replaced, so now you, the neuroscientist, have to teach the "Sexual Identity" course. Everyone in academia knows it and no one likes to admit it: faculty often have to teach courses in areas they don't know very well.

Great starting point!
I feel very prepared for interviews now that I have listened to this audiobook. Some of the example responses were a little far-fetched, I think, and even seemed to not answer the actual prompt. Overall, great. It was useful to note what the programs were really trying to sneakily discover about you with certain questions.

Well worth your time and your money
Really a very informative and honest book. I appreciate that the authors have been on both sides of the table as interviewees and interviewers. What really sets apart this treasure trove of advice is that it takes you into the perspective of the interviewer. This book will teach you not just how to answer questions correctly, but also how to make yourself memorable through your answers. It’s a solid book that I have been telling my P4 friends about.

Good Preparation for Interviews
It can be hard to find quality content to help prepare for interviews, especially for pharmacy residency interviews. Being so specific, this book will definitely help you prepare for residency interviews, and I would say it is very useful in other interview settings as well. This is definitely a book I'd recommend for others to add to their prep materials for interviews.

PharmD Residency Prep MUST!
I have always been a natural at interviews. It wasn’t until pharmacy school that I began learning about how vigorous of a process residency interviews were. This book walks you through general tips, example questions and answers, and ways to prepare for follow-up questions. This book saved me from making huge mistakes during my interview. Everything in the book is 100% true! I encourage all P4 pharmacy students wanting to do a residency to purchase this book — it is an investment worth every penny.
