Before entering the Promised Land, Moses reminded Israel of their history and the covenant they made with the Lord. The book of Deuteronomy details that covenant, looking at God's promises of cursing and blessing. In this study, Skip Heitzig unpacks those promises and explores the truths found in this still-relevant book of law.

As other people have pointed out, this is not a book. It is a series of sermons, chapter by chapter through Deuteronomy.

That being said, this has been the first time reading through the Bible that I’ve actually made it through Deuteronomy…..and it has been enlightening. Pastor Skip Heitzig explains things in a way that I finally understand this book in the Old Testament. A few of these old testament books are extremely difficult to get through and understand, for example Leviticus, Numbers, and then Deuteronomy. But with these sermons that were put together in the form of a book and sold for an amazingly cheap price, I was finally able to understand this old testament book for the first time. I saw that a few people complained that it wasn’t really a book, and down voted the book for that reason. Considering that the “book“ was approximately a dollar I think those reviews are a little harsh.
I probably got more out of the sermons, in the form of a book than I ever got out of any book that tried to explain these old testament books.
If you’re looking to understand, I recommend this “book“ highly and any of the other “books” that are by Pastor Skip on audible.
If you don’t want to pay for them at all, you can also see them on YouTube for free.

Not an actual book, but REALLY good!

A lot of good points but Torah is still to be kept, the daily performances and ordiances is what was done away with

Good points
