Dr. Travis Coulter discusses the utilization of IV mild to moderate sedation in his general practice and its benefits to clinical care.

Dr. Coulter's personal statement: "I am the youngest of three kids born to two hard working teachers that are now retired.  My Dad was a woodshop teacher and my Mom was a math teacher as well as a school counselor.  I was raised on the Coulter family farm and cattle ranch in the Panhandle of Texas outside the small town of Texline where my parents instilled in each of us the value of working hard without complaint, never quitting, continual self-improvement and most of all treating others as how we desire to be treated.  
My first business venture began at the age of 11 when my brother and I started a mowing business which quickly grew and blessed us by allowing us to pay up front for our college educations.

I decided at the age of 17 that dentistry suited my desire to create things with my hands and to work directly with people and be an entrepreneur.  I attended Southwestern Adventist University 1999-2003 and achieved a BS in Biology, but most importantly was privileged to work under some of my life’s most inspirational people.  I was accepted into and completed the dental program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry 2003-2007.  

Upon completion of my national boards, I followed my new-found love of mountains and lakes and moved to Spokane Valley, WA and was soon married to my beautiful wife, Liz whom I had met at LLUSD.  

I worked from 2007 to 2010 at a dental office that was primarily focused on anesthesia and sedation as the owner was a Dental Anesthesiologist.   While influenced and supported by my boss in 2008, I attended the Medical College of Georgia Intensive IVCS mini-residency under Dr. Lee Getter and Dr. Butch Ferguson.  

In 2010 I purchased a small practice and began to build it up by surrounding myself with amazing people to help me out.

In early 2018 AnesthesiaCharting.com was formed with Co-founder and close friend, Henrik Joreteg."
