かなり高いところまで登った私は、雑木林をみつけそこへ入ってみた。林の中を入っていくと、西洋風の家が一軒建っていた。
どうしてこんなところにあるのかわからなかったが、興味をそそられ、中に入ってみることにした。中には誰もおらず、一匹の西班牙(スペイン)犬が床に顎をくっつけて居眠りしていたが、私の入るのを見てずるそうにそっと目を開けて、のっそり起上った。
