The Complete Soup Maker Recipe Book is an essential in my opinion. I think this is one of my top two favorites of the cookbooks. Soup is super healthy and there's also the old saying that soup is good for the soul. And good for your health. You just cannot go wrong with these recipes. From vegetable, chicken, and seafood, including gumbo to sweet-ish and savory these soups are the bomb. Can't go wrong.

Again Betty Johnston does a terrific job reading the recipes in an easy to understand way.

Vegan Slow Cooker Recipes is perhaps my favorite of these short cookbooks. It's super healthy and full of delicious recipes. These recipes are the absolute best. I love the fact that they're on audio as well. I've taught myself to cook using oral instructions rather than using a written recipe. To me it's easier; especially with these slow cooker recipes. There's no reason or excuses to not be eating more healthy.

Charlie Mason has some excellent cookbooks. And Betty Johnston does a great job listing ingredients and prep. Tis is an audiobook that's definitely worth it.

Meditteranean Diet Secrets was full of valuable information on not only dieting but how to diet properly and incorporate better choices and why. It goes over many reasons why we should reconsider what we're eating. Eating healthy helps with inflammation, helps maintain healthy blood sugar levels, and keeps your heart healthy. Of all the diets out there, I think the Mediterranean Diet is the best. It's basically eating what the people living around the Mediterranean (France, Italy, and Greece) eat. Eating fresh fruits and veggies, especially tomatoes and olive oil along with drinking plenty of water is the main point along with moderation. This book gives you a way to combine the Keto diet with the Mediterranean diet at first. it is possible and it's explained here. Also included is a two week diet plan with 70 excellent recipes with a large variety of good foods. You can't go wrong with this.

This audiobook was much more than just a diet book. It was an enjoyable listen. It was very well written by Lisa Scott and it held my interest throughout. This was a gem of an audiobook and definitely worth it.

Deborah Fennelly did an outstanding job narrating this book. She sounded as if she was talking to you. She was easy to listen to and the recipes were easily explained.

These smoothie recipes are to die for. This is my favorite out of all the quick recipe audiobooks. The ingredients for these smoothies are easily obtainable and fresh. Frozen fruit could also be used if fresh can't be found. The watermelon smoothie, the ginger, cantaloupe smoothie, and the cinnamon apple are just a few of the many smoothies in this book. But as listed in the blurb the following are the ones I love; the vitamin E green smoothie, the alkaline bliss smoothie, and the leafy anti-aging power smoothie. These are super healthy and they make me super happy.

Betty Johnston does a great job reading the recipes. I find them easy to follow and it keeps me from having to stop and look at a recipe.

How to Retire was chock full of information on how to enjoy your best retirement. You've likely been preparing for retirement for a long time and now that the time has come, you're ready. If you're at the point of actually retiring, you've probably already done the leg work but if you're looking to start your retirement plan then this audiobook will set you in the right direction. As a retiree you should be able to relax and take the trips you've planned for, take up hobbies you've wanted to start, and just overall enjoy your retirement. As we get older, the unexpected does happen but you've prepared well.

This was a good listen written by Olivia Greenwell with excellent narration by Julie Slater. Easy to listen to and follow.

Wicca for Beginners was a great listen. To me it was above a beginner level audiobook but I don't practice Wicca. I like it and like to learn about different types of new religiouns although I think it's based on paganism which is in no way new. I share in the same core beliefs as Wicca; do no harm, the holidays, nature, etc. I just don't want to label myself. But this is the good news. I listened to this book with a completely opened mind and have also listened to others like it and I can say that this one seemed to be a step above the others. I enjoy educating myself and I learned more from this book than I had previously known.

This was an excellent audiobook written by Scarlett Wright and perfectly narrated by Barbara Sybal. Barbara had a nice voice to listen to and her pronunciations were spot on. very well done.

Blogging for Profit 2019 was packed full of information about blogging and making a profit. It covers everything one would need to know. One thing I know is if someone is going to do this it takes committment. Dedication and committment. You can't just do it for awhile then pause then come back to it.

This was an overall great listen with excellent narration by Buck Tucker. Both author and reader approached this subject very professionally and this seemed to me to be the blogger's bible.

Meditation: Meditation for Beginners is an excellent guided meditations audiobook for everyone. Don't get caught up in the beginner part of the title. I'm not new to meditation and I absolutely love these. It has body scan meditations and background settings such as rain which I really enjoy. My favorite ones are set to binaural music. If you need to relax during the day or need a little nudge to get to sleep these are perfect. I've used them for both relaxation and sleep and also while painting. These help my creativity flow better. This is a top-notch gem of a meditation audiobook by Better Mindfulness Meditation.

Gretchen Conlon is probably the best meditation guide I've listened to. Her voice is so calm and relaxing and she helps you really wind down. She's absolutely wonderful to listen to.

The Instant Pot Recipes Cookbook is seriously brilliant. Yes, I'd say most if not everyone has a crock or some form of cookware they can use for this. There are so many more things you can cook in a crock besides just roast. Who knew?? I love this cookbook and plan to try out several of these recipes. I never even thought about making a dessert in my crock pot. Also I enjoy audio recipes. To me it's so much easier. i enjoy Betty Johnston's narration but it's too fast. When I use these recipes I'll have to slow down the speed to .75. No biggie.

I seriously want an air fryer! Air Fryer Cookbook had some amazing recipes. I plan to get an air fryer soon and I will be trying these recipes. I have found that following recipes from audio is better than reading them. I have tried and like doing this. It keeps me from having to touch a recipe card or frequently looking at a recipe. It seems like it would be even easier using an air fryer. I liked this audiobook. It was full of yummy recipes that I'll be trying.

I didn't mind Betty Johnston's narration although with recipes it would help to speak a little slower. I actually do like using these audio recipes.
