There’s nothing romantic about choosing your mate with the help of technology, and there’s nothing Prince Darbnix's less interested in than using a scanner to find his true love. But he’s also tired of fighting with his older brother about them. A human plot almost tricked the eldest Trilyn prince into marrying the wrong woman, but Darbnix has other plans. He’ll go through the motions of the grand parties, to please his brother, but his heart won’t be in it.

The second story in a series, I missed the first book but it wasn’t a problem understanding the story. The second prince is in a floating ship over Topeka Kansas..he reigns over a agricultural continent on his planet and has ab affinity for animals.
A favored pet becomes ill, he meets a veterinarian, Rose, and falls...however he must marry a females who sets off a genetic matching device....well people have been messing with these devices and he is matched with someone else.
The story is ok, entertaining and some lines a bit over the top, but light entertainment..also some action, evil people (what happens to one in particular was interesting).
The narrator did a nice job..kept the story going along well.

Ruth Ann and Frankie have known each other for years. He’s a friend of her older brother and Ruth antagonized him all the time. This was a juvenile attempt to get his attention which backfired.
Each would enter a relationship when the other did..finally Ruth leaves for school, Frankie married to forget her and lands up marrying someone already married.
It takes a bit into the story to realize Frankie doesn’t care...and then it is fully expressed in his ,ind to himself. Dual POV...then there is miscommunication, familial interference and struggles to see what will happen.
Likable Characters and secondary characters add to the story line. There is also the emergence of women working and being interested in nontraditional roles. The struggles of a mother and daughter...developing a family with friends.
Some steaminess, but not graphic, but shows there was desire in the ‘30s as well.
The narrator did an excellent job.

A man, Lucas, sleeping on her step one morning, she awakes him, he enters her shop and buys a chair and she maneuvers a date so she can ‘show’ her ex to leave her alone. He actually owns a bar..takes her there...Dana believes her ex is following her and takes Lucas home and has sex with him believing her ex watches.
Mystery about who Lucas is and about Dana’s ex continues..as the couple falls in love.
I did not care for either Dana or Lucas at the beginning..their way of talking to each other was over the top for flirting..but seemed to work for them.
Between secrets, and a bit of selfishness this didn’t foster warm feelings certainly towards Dana, but it does improve and interest in how this story will resolve
A cliffhanger...not extreme, but there is more story to tell and you can’t help but wonder how..to learn more about the H and h.
The narrator was good, but her male voice had too much of a smug sound trying too hard to sound sexy tone to it.

Rebels is the perfect word for the shifters introduced in the beginning of this series. A building on the shifters from the Aloha Shifters Jewels of the Heart. I love how the community is being built with connections to the previous series but more characters, good and evil, in the new series. A plus to know the first series, but you could enjoy this as well..but why not start with Jewels of the Heart? You won’t regret it.
Jenna, a sister to a mate in the previous series, is being stalked and is afraid. She meets Conner on the plane from California to Hawaii and they have an immediate sense of connection. Fate would have Jenna going to stay with her sister at the shifter compound (and being told of the existence of shifters) and Conner, a dragon shifter, without an ancient clan, and his brothers going to the compound to add to security there.
Such lovable characters, mystery, interesting plot lines, some resolution and yet more questions to be answered. But you’re not left dangling with a cliffhanger...but with the knowledge there will be more story and resolutions to be revealed.
I love the humor..the dragon talking to the human side of the shifter...all feeling and love, desire and when necessary anger and protectiveness.
I absolutely love the narrator who has been consistent in the series, with perfect male and female voice..The emotions are so well done and the shifter voice is so perfect.
These books are an automatic go to for me when I know I need to have a completely satisfying read/listen...A must in any romance library.

Two hundred years ago, my mother summoned my inner monster. Demon Dreams - I’m finally mated to the Beast Lord. Our magical bond is INCREDIBLE. Thanks to his invention, we have children on the way.

Our heroine has a demon in her that was placed there by a misguided spell her mother and friends put on her.
This causes her to suck energy from people, and when her demon is out of control. to kill people. She can also be insatiable for sex...and she attracts men and women to fulfill this need.
She is in a battle with her demon trying to keep him under control and not kill people. She has supernatural beings...some she comes to love.
Because this is a box set, the audio is long and there is a fair amount of repartition.
A lot of sex, obviously since it’s a need of the demon..
The narrator does a fine job..

The narrator made this pure entertainment with funny voices, dramatic interpretations of people and animals, and a complete sense of fun!
Short and full of fun. It is broken down into parts so you can listen in bits and pieces if you like.

The Book of Five Rings is a text on Kenjutsu and the martial arts in general, written by the Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi around 1645. There have been various translations made over the years, and it enjoys an audience considerably broader than only that of martial artists and people across East Asia: For instance, some foreign business leaders find its discussion of conflict and taking the advantage to be relevant to their work in a business context.

There are many philosophies in the text that could be directed towards life in general, business, warfare and self defense.
Considering how long ago this was written it is amazing how well it is translated and could be applied to aspects of life.
The narrator did a fantastic job, I believe I would have had a difficult time understanding all of the text if it had not been narrated.
I’m not involved in martial arts, I’m into yoga, and there are aspects that could be used in the aspect of yoga...not a lot, it some

Everyone recognized the love between Lucian and Angeline except Lucian and Angeline. Fear of being hurt, new found recognition of feelings, a time period when women’s rights are making women militant and failure to communicate nearly cost Lucian and Angeline a future.
Well written, with wonderful inner thoughts that make you hope the couple doesn’t separate out of ignorance. Thankfully Lucian is determined to keep Angeline and once he realized his feelings, his thoughts are so sweet and endearing.
A wonderful narrator who keeps me listening and doesn’t detract from the story She sounds a little old for the 21 years old girl, but not enough to be a bother.
Would believe, all the books in this series would a treasure...romantic, sweet and HEA. Wonder who Alexander loves? (Angeline’s brother) perhaps found out next book.

Christos is a billionaire, living the D/S life...but take it up a few more notches...plus he is a sociopath, charming, manipulating, grandiose and says he has a beast within and a black hole where his heart is.
He has seen a picture of a girl who applies to work on his yacht, Jessie...and decides she is his next sub.
At first I thought Jessie would be able to resist longer, but I guess that wouldn’t make for as interesting story.
I just began to think positively about Christos when things occur that I can’t imagine Jessie can forgive. He can be beyond cruel..yet she loves him.
There is a cliffhanger...so despite not liking Christos one can’t help but wonder what happens next!
The narrator did an excellent job and I felt the emotions and the push and pull of the story.
I gave the story fewer stars just because I need to have some liking for the characters...and that is about it..I ended the book despising Christos and wishing Jessie could heal and actually move on..but again that wouldn’t make sense for a romance.
