Could not wait to hear this one. I love this team. They are hilarious, my favorite book series. Sound quality was lower than before, it had a “bathroom echo” ring to it which was slightly annoying and noticeable at first but I eventually just ignored it.

Great installment overall. Looking forward to new adventures!

Some of the separate storylines of the characters were absolutely heart-wrenching and so deep and so beautiful. The plot twists were unexpected. This book is very different from virtually all other space books I’ve read so far.

It felt a little short but complete. I certainly hope to read yet another chapter but if the author decides not to write anymore - that’s ok too. There is a certain air of completion to this story. Really enjoyed it. This book added a layer of reality to the battles and took some fun out of “book” war. Which made it that much more interesting.

I love the story line perspective and the thoughts and emotions that go with it. It’s not just a war book with lots of fighting scenes, it’s a war with all it’s realities - a little bit of fun moments, fear, sweat, do or die moments, sadness, bravado, casualties and glory. I definitely recommend this book.
