The characters in this story are bang-your-head-into-a-wall stupid. Without giving it away, the way the characters get themselves into the main conflict of the story is just so far outside of what normal logic would dictate that the premise becomes unbelievable. Aspects of the story were great and it wasn't unenjoyable, but I had a hard time really getting into the narrative.

Amos Decker's life changed forever - twice. The first time was on the gridiron. A big, towering athlete, he was the only person from his hometown of Burlington ever to go pro. But his career ended before it had a chance to begin. On his very first play, a violent helmet-to-helmet collision knocked him off the field for good and left him with an improbable side effect - he can never forget anything.

GREAT story. The sound editing and past production is absolutely terrible, but that's no fault of the story itself or the readers.
