- 12 Strategies for Winning the Battle of the Mind
- By: Joyce Meyer
- Narrated by: Sandra McCollom
- Length: 9 hrs and 26 mins
Joyce Meyer has a knack for coining phrases - her fans call them "Joyceisms" - and one of her best loved is "Where the mind goes, the man follows."This was the basis for Battlefield of the Mind, and in her latest book, Meyer provides "power thoughts," bringing the reader to a new level of ability to use the mind as a tool to achievement. In Power Thoughts, she outlines a flexible program to turn thoughts into habits, and habits into success. Nobody has more of a "can-do" attitude than Joyce Meyer. Now you can, too.

Belts & Braces Christianity
The bible references and the contant barrage of christian dogma are overbearing. Even if you can overlook this, the rambling and waffling makes it difficult to discern the key points made.
None of the material is original. Quotes from James Allen were given as anonomous. Why? Because the auther makes the comment that Eastern religions are false and new age lets you think you can do anything you want. I guess she cannot therefore officially endorse James Allen.
The author may have some good points to make to one eyed fundamentalist christians, but if this is not you, stap yourself in for mega doses of dogma!

Marianne's style will suit some people, probably those people in a real hurry. The content of the book is great, but the frieght train pace quickly makes one a little nauseous.
