Being a retired Marine....any book with Marines is good for me, the fact he got the nickname of the CH 46 correct....was good. Story was somewhat predictable, but interesting still. if this author pops up again for a good price I would snap it up.

I listen to books....all day most days as I work my farm...so I like long listens....this is the Illiad of listens, and I am truly sad it is over. Being a retired Marine, I dont feel they got fairly described....we are not uncultured brutes....we are cultured brutes....need a story with a Marine pilot as the hero/main character, we are much more entertaining then squids.

our ancestors have so much over us, we worry about losing wifi, they endured more then most of us could ever think to....great story, great narrator. Top 10 book for me.
