I remember the very first time I laid eyes on Cole Lincoln. It still feels like yesterday when he stumbled into my life with his messy brown hair and dark eyes. Even though I was only 10 years old at the time, I knew right then and there that he was going to change everything. From that point on, Cole and I were always together, inseparable, and I naively believed we'd be best friends forever. But forever didn't last nearly as long as I expected. We grew up and grew apart, life driving the distance between us.

Enjoyed the book. Normally I read the book first, but I listen to this book first.

I did not enjoy the dual POV narrated by a woman only.

My friends want me to get laid. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who's going to break our roommate's cherry? Him: Socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: Must have a pulse. He will reciprocate with oral. Text him at: 555-254-5551. The morons can't even spell. And the texts I've been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I'm not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one.

When I found out that this book was going to be an audible, I was so excited! And they Sara Ney blew it out of the water with her narrators ~ Muffy Newton & Josh Goodman! I love these two together and they both do an amazing job bringing this book to life.

NARRATOR REVIEW
I love Muffy's man voice and how animated she is with every part of this book.
I love Josh's smooth voice and the cadence of his voice that makes him narrating this book so enjoyable.

I look forward to listening to more books with these two narrators in the future and the rest of this series.

BOOK REVIEW
I am not sure what it is about the concept of dating a douchebag, but I knew I had to read this series. I have been hooked since the very first book and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one. Each of these can absolutely be read as a standalone and each one deals with a different kind of douchebag.

From the moment I got to meet the newest member of the wresting team I just knew this was going to be my favorite. Between his room/teammates trying to teach him a few lessons in complete college fashion....complete with signs to help him get laid. I couldn't help feeling bad for the guy and they way he handles all that gets throw his way is nothing short of fantastic. I fell hard for this socially awkward wrestler that can't seem to get his teammates to lay off, but it works to his to his advantage.

When the texts start rolling in all the fun starts and you get a front row seat to see how he meets his girl and how things change along the way and how completely clueless he is to the opposite sex. It is so very swoon worthy that I couldn't put this book down.

If you haven't read this series, then this one is a great one to start with AND...the entire series is on audible.

Snowbound. Sounds so romantic, with visions of cuddling before a roaring fire, hot chocolate spiked with brandy, and a secret elopement. Wait. What? My fiancé's father won't stop trying to turn our pending wedding into a three-ring media circus so he can get free publicity for his family's Fortune 500 company. My mother has decided she's done with All Things Wedding and asks her teacup Chihuahua for mother-of-the-bride advice. They've all gone certifiably mad.

Amy does an amazing job bring Amanda to life

I love this entire series and if I had more times I would absolutely reread the entire series before each new release. And Andrew and Amanda are my favorite and I couldn't wait to see what craziness was going to ensue for there wedding after what happened with Declan and Shannon. In complete Julia fashion, I found myself literally laughing out loud and brushing up on my googling skills. This book was amazing!

Andrew and Amanda have a different relationship dynamic than Declan and Shannon that makes it so much fun to read their story. There is just something about their witty banter and sarcasm that I can never get enough of these two. They truly are perfect for each other. It is amazing that these two are able to find their HEA with all the craziness that James is causing and the paparazzi.

He is addicted to his phone and his new role as CEO. I’m addicted to getting some on my own honeymoon. One of these things is not like the other. I am pretty sure a serial killer’s lair is the only place in the world where I could stash my new husband so he can’t manage the acquisition of our new company. And that seems a little drastic. But only a little. All I want is one week alone with him. Hours in bed, legs tangled together in ecstasy, room service and long walks on the beach in Hawaii.

When I found out that Sebastian York was going to be narrating this book, I was over the moon! Sebastian totally nails every pun and joke in this book perfectly and I just couldn't get enough.

Really, what's not to love about this series? This book is a little different because it isn't about one of the main characters, but it perfectly rounds out the entire series. It gives you insight and a different perspective of the main characters that you wouldn't get otherwise.

First, let me start off by saying that I LOVE AGNES!!! This book is full of amazing Agnes moments that will absolutely have you laughing out loud...literally. Then you get to see a completely different side of Declan now that he is CEO of his new Coffee chain.

Ok so onto Gerald & Suzanne's story. Gerald gets this weird inheritance that causes him to face & deal with a huge decision he made 10 years ago. Gerald & Suzanne go through this journey of revelations, forgiveness & a fair share of suspense.

Julia has done it again...captured my heart & has me salivating for more of this series.

Where does Lucian rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

This is probably one of the best audibles that I've listened to so far.

What other book might you compare Lucian to and why?

This was my first Mafia Romance book, so comparing it to other books that I've listened to is difficult, but this book did have the perfect narrator for this type of story.

Which scene was your favorite?

When Jordyn tells off Kate at Lucian's mother's birthday party.

Any additional comments?

John Thrust is an amazing narrator and I hope to listen to more of his books.

So of course she isn't interested in legendary team captain Alex Waters or his pretty, beat-up face and rock-hard six-pack abs.
