Twenty-nine-year-old Lindsey Rose has, for as long as she can remember, lived in the shadow of her ravishingly beautiful fraternal twin sister, Alex. Determined to get noticed, Lindsey is finally on the cusp of being named VP creative director of an elite New York advertising agency, after years of 80-plus-hour weeks, migraines, and profound loneliness. But during the course of one devastating night, Lindsey’s carefully constructed life implodes. Humiliated, she flees the glitter of Manhattan and retreats to the time warp of her parents’ Maryland home.

I couldn’t stand the main character. Nobody who is that successful would be that insecure and that delusional about everyone around her.

Very long and interesting lead-up to a mediocre finale. Even though the author tied some things together, they were only teases with no real purpose.

If it can happen in show business, it's happened to Jon Cryer. Now he's opening up for the first time and sharing his behind-the-scenes stories in a warmly endearing, sharply observed, and frankly funny look at life in Hollywood.

I usually shy away from listening to books read by the author (except for David Sedaris) but I was pleasantly surprised by how well Jon Cryer did. I thoroughly enjoyed the book even the parts about Charlie Sheen and 2 1/2 Men which I was least interested in. Well written and read.
