Ok. I will admit that the storyline is minimal but it’s still worked in a way that it feels complete. But it’s hot hot hot and really well written! It takes a lot of talent for a story to feel so well rounded while being 90% sexual content. And it’s good! And damn!

The narration is fantastic and perfect for the story. Michael really brings this to a whole new level.

Ahh These guys are sexy together!! I loved their dynamic and progression of their relationship from rivals to friends to lovers to love. They are witty and playful, and Lanes dialogue is always awesome!

Michael nailed these guys and I adored his drunken scene.

It's a great kick off to a great series.

Lane Hayes always creates such great characters that work their way into your heart. Evan and Mitch did just that. I adore how with this series Lane has brought to light the positive side and the optimism with self discovery and coming out. These books aren't all about the horrors of staying in the closet and the pressures of coming out or else. They're about loving and supporting your friends and allowing them to take the path they need. I adored Evans easy but apprehensive discovery of himself and how patient and understanding Mitch was with him. Love this series and I can't wait for more.

Michael Pauley always delivers a great performance and I think that this book benefited a lot from it. If it had had a mediocre narrator it would have suffered a lot more. Over all I thought the story was ok and I did enjoy listening. There were several major issues I had with the plot and certain parts of it that just pulled me out of it too much and found it to be too unbelievable and made it difficult for me to be captured by it.

Grafted into the Bryant family as a teenager to escape his abusive father, the Bryants saved his life, but Connor has never truly felt a part of the founding family royalty. And if his heart’s desire were revealed, it would betray everything the Bryants have done for him.
