Every time Leah Holt encounters Quantum Production’s chief counsel, Emmett Burke, the only thing she can think of is how much she wants to lick him. Everywhere. She’s never had that kind of reaction to a man, and the fact that he’s a much-older colleague makes her out-of-control attraction to him far more complicated than it should be. Every day, she brings a new legal question to Emmett, hoping to catch his attention and make him see her as a grown woman who wants him desperately. She walks a fine line in trying to remain professional as the assistant to superstar Marlowe Sloane while lusting after Marlowe’s sexy attorney.

This is by far the best Quantum novel yet. I loved Leah and Emmett! Leah had a crush on Emmett from the first time she saw him . She found reasons to go see him for "legal" questions at Quantum where she's an admin and he's the company lawyer. He saw through that but an accident put them together for a day or so and he found that she was irresistible even though he thought she was too young for him. Seems that attraction doesn't respect age. Some of the situations and banter in this book had me laughing or trying not to when I was around people. Leah and Emmett are one of my favorite couples. I can't wait for the next book for Marlowe to find her love. It was nice to catch up with the rest of the couples and see how they are one big family. The bonus story at the end was an unexpected pleasure. Marie Force sure has the talent for bringing the characters to life. Maxine Mitchell and Aiden Snow narrate the story wonderfully and bring another dimension to the characters.

I loved this book and all the ups and downs of Elizabeth and Weston's relationship and marriage. They both love each other and are trying to figure out the best way to maneuver the bombshell that Weston was given at the end of the last book. Laurelin Paige sure knows how to twist my feelings. The narration from Elena Wolfe and Jacob Morgan were wonderful. They both were able to do so many voices to bring the characters to life.

Sweet, nerdy, lovable Keaton. She's my best friend and has been for years. Sure she likes numbers and math, and thinks doing other people's taxes is fun. And I like...none of that stuff. She reads novels I'll never understand, and yet we just click. There's no one I'd rather share breakfast burritos with or binge watch hours of Netflix with. She's my person. And so when she takes off her glasses and asks me to help her improve her skills in the bedroom, I barely have to think about it. Of course I'll help her. There's no one better for the job. But what happens when she's ready to take her new-found confidence and move on?

Keaton is a little nerdy and feels like she needs some help with her sexual prowess. She asks her best friend, Slate, to help her. They make a pact that it won't change their friendship and won't fall in love with each other, yeah right. Things go along smoothly for a couple months and then feelings do get involved. I really liked Slate and that he declared his love for Keaton first. Then comes the sticky part of trying to get past the friends with benefits. Do they go back to being friends or take the relationship farther? Andi Arndt and Sebastian York are two of my favorite narrators and they don't disappoint on this audio book. Kendall Ryan has written a great book, too. I enjoyed the bonus story, too. I can't wait for the next book! Definitely worth a credit!!

It was just a typical Monday. Until the big boss asked me to make the pitch for a prospective new client. After two years on shaky ground at work because of my screw up, an opportunity to impress the senior partners was just what I needed. Or so I thought, until I walked into the conference room and collided with the man I was supposed to pitch to. My coffee spilled, my files tumbled to the ground, and I almost lost my balance. And that was the good part of my day. Because the gorgeous man who crouched down and looked at me like he wanted to eat me alive was none other than my ex.

Once the timing is right, Gray is determined to win Layla back into his life. There are things that have happened in his past that he wasn't completely truthful about and Layla has family issues to overcome. I think this book is definitely worth a credit!

Brit and Hunter have been best friends since they both started working at Oxford. He is her boss so of course they can't have a relationship. Brit can't find a man that wants to date her after the first date or so it's the "It's me not you". She asks Hunter to coach her in how to be sexy and get a man interested in her. Brit and Hunter start having more than friend feelings and eventually it leads to a wonderful night of sex. It complicates things that Hunter never has planned to stay in NYC but move back to Kansas City to help with the family business. Lauren Layne ties the story line wonderfully and brings us up to date with the rest of the Oxford/Stiletto couples. I'm going to miss this series but I can't wait for the next one. Maxine Mitchell narration brings the book to life for me.

Jade is an author looking to get away to work on her romance book. Her best friend helps her fill out the applicaiton for the online matchmaking service Perfect Match. They try to outfox the system by having her friend pretend to be a male. But things don't work out that way. Jade is matched with Navy SEAL Aiden, whose mother and sister filled out his application without his knowledge. He's an aspiring author for action books and not looking for love but decides to go for some R&R. Jade also writes action thrillers under a male name since she doesn't think the readers would accept those books from a female author. As they are forced to spend time together, things heat up between them. Will Jade and Aiden get their perfect match even though they weren't looking for it? This is another great story by Rachelle Ayala. I really like how she's able to write about people of diversity and let us see that they are the same as everyone else. Charley Ongel is a wonderful narrator and brings the story to life.

Turn-ons: party girls. Platinum blondes. Zero expectations. I used to think if you could combine all three into one female, you'd have the perfect woman. Then why the hell does Ava Pearson - an outdoorsy girl, a brunette, and a woman who screams stability and responsibility - seem to be the only woman on my mind lately? It's the cupcakes. It's gotta be the cupcakes she bakes that keep me coming back for more. After all, the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, right? Did I forget to mention she's my buddy's daughter?

Dane has a reputation for being a love 'em and leave 'em single dad until he meets Ava. They have a one night stand which ends up being an exclusive friends with benefits relationship. Ava's dad is one of the members of the Single Dad's Club so there's that complication. Ava opens a bakery across from Dane's bar. He compares her cupcakes to "crack" since they are so addicting. Ava gets along with Dane's son, Toby really well and helps to teach him how to bake, too. Of course, there comes a time when Ava wants more from Dane than he thinks he can give her. Until a situation happens that makes him realize that he loves her. He has to try to win her back. I really like the epilogues to this book that allow us to see the couple in the future. The narration duet of Kai Kennicott and Wen Ross was wonderful! Piper Rayne has done it again with this fantastic story.

This is a different type of story than what I've listened to from Rachelle Ayala before. It's romantic suspense with a theme of forgiveness. Amber was raised in a strict religious family and couldn't wait to leave town when she turned 18 even though she'd be leaving Nate behind. Nate and Amber exchanged dreams of their futures. When Amber left, Nate thought she would end up fulfilling her dreams but she was picked up by an abusive mountain man named Hunter. When she became pregnant, he took her to get an abortion but she escaped and ended up having the baby. She returns home when she finds out that her grandmother is dying. Nate finds out that Amber came back with a baby. He knows how bad that would be if the town found out. He tries to help her but in the meantime Hunter finds them. Will Nate and Amber survive to become a family? Please listen and find out. This is such a wonderful story written by Rachelle Ayala and narrated as a duet by Charley Ongel and Tor Thom.

Everyone knows they can't be trusted. Now that I've moved back into my childhood home in Chicago, my focus is my daughter, my mom, and me. Then I see Reed Warner again. Piper Rayne has another hit with Charity Case series. Manic Monday is the first book in the series and what a way to start off! Victoria is a divorced mom of a seven year old daughter. She's recently moved back to Chicago to live with her mom, who was diagnosed with MS. As she's dropping her daughter off at school, she sees Reed dropping off a boy. Reed is such a wonderful, sexy, thoughtful man. Who could be so perfect. Except Reed is a lawyer like Victoria's ex and he was best man at their wedding. He's also the Big Brother to Henry, the boy he's dropping off. Victoria fights against all the feelings Reed brings out in her but he doesn't give up. You will see how wonderfully thoughtful Reed is at the end of the book. This is such a great story with great characters and I can't wait to listen to the other books in the series! Kylie Stewart is a great narrator and brings so much to the story.
