Rick Steele has avoided relationships since he caught his fiancée cheating, but when his friend refers him to the exclusive agency, FANTA-C, to experience the night of his dreams, he's not prepared for his emotional and physical reaction to his date. Tara shows him a raw passion and honesty he’s never encountered. For the first time, Rick wants more than one night, but he needs to catch her first.

Fanta C is an exclusive club that pairs people up with the same wants for an evening only. Tara has been abused by an ex and wants to get over her issues with her scars and sex. Rick was hurt by his fiancee cheating with a groomsman. He wants to get over being hurt. Both almost decide to not go through with it but they do. Rick is so great and is able to help Tara see that he is looking past her body and into the real "Tara". He knows he wants more than just this one night and has to convince Tara that she does, too. Rick stands beside Tara and helps her achieve her goals. This story is short but takes place over a period of time so you can believe that they have developed real feelings for each other. This story is a bit different from what I've read from Jennifer Probst before but it's really good. Matthew Williamson is a new narrator for me. I love his voice and hopefully he'll be doing a lot more audio books!

Luca Bianco is a jerk. There I said it. Men like Luca are good for one thing only - a one-night stand - not commitment. I don’t care if my friend did pay good money at a charity bachelor auction for me to go on a date with him, I refuse to do it. That is until Luca offers me a deal I can’t refuse, and I agree to be his pretend fiancé. The heat that’s simmered between us for a decade ignites and I’m not sure even Luca will be able to kickstart my heart after I call code blue.

Luca is the youngest Bianco brother and may be my favorite of the brothers. Luca is an EMT and hasn't settled down. He decides he needs to make his mother happy before her surgery by being engaged. He needs someone who won't end up with feelings at the end of the fake engagement. He asks Lauren, who is friends with his brother's girlfriends. Lauren needs a date for the office Christmas party to show her boss that she's taken. Everyone is taken by surprise by their engagement because they always acted like they hated each other. Once Luca and Lauren begin spending time together, their true feelings begin to come out. They knew each other in high school when Lauren went out with Luca's best friend. Unknown to Lauren, Luca always had feelings for her but kept them buried and she finds that she has feelings, too. I really enjoyed this fake engagement/hate to love relationship book. Piper Rayne has done it again with making a trio of brothers romantic heroes. I can't wait to see what they write about next.

Jessica's brother talks her into "babysitting" Ben so he doesn't get in more trouble after drowning his woes. They both have had their eyes on each other but didn't act on it because of working together. Jessica has a lot of responsibilities and not just at work. Ben decides to help her rediscover her fun side. I loved the banter between Jessica and Ben and all the other people in the story. Erin Nicholas really has a way with a phrase! I liked Karen White's narration, too. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series.

I really enjoyed this second book in the Blue Collar Brothers. Cristian is a cop and Vanessa's friends bid on him as a date for Vanessa. Her father is the commander of the police department so that causes some concerns - he keeps asking when Cristian is going to take her out for the date, but Vanessa keeps stalling. They finally have a date and discover their attraction to each other. She has some secrets that she's keeping from everyone and thinks that Cristian won't want to date her when he finds out. When he does find out, he goes alpha and tries to protect her as any good cop and member of an Italian family does. She doesn't like it and there's the problem that needs to be worked out. Cristian is a great guy and wants Vanessa in his life forever. I shed some tears in parts that were very heartwrenching but I still love the way Piper Rayne writes these stories. I can't wait for Luca and Lauren's story next since their story was dropped as a bombshell at the end of this book. Kylie Stewart and Eric Rolon did a wonderful job of narrating.

An alpha among the wolves of Wall Street, Kennedy Dawson rose to the top of the pack by striking the right contracts at the right times. But there's one deal that's been giving him a run for his money - a pact to never again let his assistant, Kate, get under his skin. She may be smart, gorgeous, and sharp as a whip, but she's definitely off-limits.

I was so glad that we got to hear Kate and Kennedy's story. Unrequited love of Kennedy by Kate all these years. Kennedy's realization that he wasn't so indifferent to Kate as he thought he was. Kate thought she had gotten over Kennedy but of course she hadn't. I really liked the "strip chess" game. I loved how each of the 3 friends found their loves in different ways and they were all involved in this story. Listening brought the story more to life with Samantha Cook and Zachary Webber's narration.

No more “you should meet my son, nephew, grandson, the butcher, the guy down the street who mows my lawn.” People mean well, but machines know better, so I'll rely on the great dating algorithms of the web to find my ideal man, thank you very much. Soon enough, it looks like I’ve found him - his screen name is Lucky Suit, and he’s hilarious, quick-witted, and full of heart. But when we finally get together in person, I have the distinct feeling I’ve met him before. Funny enough - he says the same thing about me.

My relationship with Hunter Delucia started backwards. We met at a wedding. Stealing glances at each other throughout the night, there was no denying an intense, mutual attraction. I caught the bouquet; he caught the garter. Hunter held me tightly while we danced and suggested we explore the chemistry sparking between us. His blunt, dirty mouth should’ve turned me off. But for some crazy reason, it had the opposite effect on me. We ended up back in my hotel room. The next morning, I headed home to New York leaving him behind in California with the wrong number.

Their mutual friends keep her privacy and won't give him her real number. The next time they meet, she gives him another wrong number but it ends up being her mother's number and she invites him to dinner when he's in town. They end up giving into a short term relationship which wasn't to turn into love but it does. Hunter has his own secrets that prevent him from wanting to commit. I loved the journey that they both went on and how it ended. Vi Keeland really knows how to write a great story and to listen to Andi Arndt and Sebastian York is a joy.

I haven't ever heard each character narrated by a different person. This was amazing and has brought the audio book into a new era for me. I love Lauren Blakely's stories in the first place and this story was no different. Unrequited love and then to have it at your fingertips. Leo and Lulu have been best friends for over ten years. Lulu married Leo's best friend so he had to put his feelings for Lulu away. Circumstances have changed and Lulu begins to see Leo as a really hot guy and not just her friend. Their journey is wonderful. I can't give enough stars for this book from the story to the performances of all the narrators. It would be wonderful if this is able to be done again. I know how difficult it is to co-ordinate schedules and this worked out and we are all the richer for it. I really liked the interview with Sebastian and Andi at the end and all the extras. Thank you. Lauren for this book!

Jace Crawford heals hearts for a living. More than that, medicine is his life. To become the leading cardiothoracic surgeon on the West Coast, he’s made sacrifices. No social life. He barely has time to sleep. Love? Forget about it. But when everything goes horribly wrong on his table, and he unexpectedly loses a patient, Jace is suspended from work. When a man has nothing but his job, what does he do when that’s gone? Joy Thompson collects unwanted strays. A dog with one eye, a three-legged cat, a bird that swears like a sailor? Jace and Joy have been friends for 19 years since freshman year in college. She's a veterinarian and he's a cardio surgeon and they've always been plus ones for each other. She's always had a crush on him but he's felt like she's a friend. When he loses a patient and the family brings a lawsuit against him and the hospital, he finds he has more time on his hands and spends more time with Joy. All of a sudden he starts seeing her in a different light. As they spend more time together, they find the attraction becoming deeper. They end up acting on their feelings and falling in love. Can their love survive when he goes back to work and spends more time at work than he plans? I always like Kristen Proby's writing and I really like this story and the epilogue at the end. There's one more Crawford brother, Levi, and I hope his story comes soon. I think Joan Delaware and Lee Samuels do a wonderful narration.
