Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Only if someone didn't listen to the others in the series first

What didn’t you like about Michael Pauley’s performance?

The voices were terrible. Why oh why would they change narrators again! He made my favorite characters that I spent many, many hours listening to, sound corny and odd. I really look forward to his books coming out and it was spoiled by the change. Terrible accents, gloomy sounding, not like Bishop, Terry, and the rest are at all.

Why are these authors always screwing with a good thing? It's not the first time I was turned against an author because of it.

Any additional comments?

After a cyber attack and wide spread sabotage by terrorists took out the United States' electrical grid, one group of survivors found themselves far worse off than the rest of the populace. This group found themselves stranded on an island with no way to cross the flooded river and soggy lands surrounding them as starvation and desperation began. The one thing they had going for them, though, to get themselves through this ordeal, was that they were preppers - people who prepare for disasters as a lifestyle or hobby.

What made the experience of listening to Sharecropping the Apocalypse: A Prepper Is Cast Adrift the most enjoyable?

Hillbillies Clem and Bertha were so enjoyable I wanted a whole book just about them. I laughed more at these two wonderful characters than anyone in my last 125 books.

What did you like best about this story?

When the story switched to the fantastic adventure on Clem's plantation.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Absolutely...might listen again to this one

Is there anything you would change about this book?

The narrator. I can't believe this author allowed two different little girls perform this series. I listen to every survival, end of society, book audible offers. I have run out of fresh ones to listen to and hoped this series would keep me occupied. I was very disappointed to find these teeny bopper girls doing the series and barely let myself finish it. I will not waste my time on the rest of them.

How could the performance have been better?

100 times better with men for narrators. Not British accent narrators either. Good old fashioned Americans. Why would the author do this? Are they his kids or relatives or was he just using cheap help?

Any additional comments?

Tell the author to do the series over with decent narrators and I will buy the whole series.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

I don't think I would...the narrator added some very annoying "tones" every few minutes that were overly loud and obnoxious. His attempts at different voices drove me nuts. The authors stupid, sophomoric, attempts at humor made me cringe he whole way through. Constant swearing and sexual innuendo were all through the book and really took away from the story. The story was ok but all these things made me happy when the end came.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of D. Allen?

Anyone but this joker

Could you see Holding Their Own: A Story of Survival being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Yes

Just a generation ago this place was called America. Now, after the worldwide implementation of UN-lead program called Agenda 21, it's simply known as the 'Republic'. There is no president. No congress. No Supreme Court. No freedom. There are only the Authorities. Citizens have two primary goals in the new Republic: to create clean energy and to create new human life. Those who cannot do either are of no use to society. This bleak and barren existence is all that 18-year-old Emmeline has ever known.

If you could sum up Agenda 21 in three words, what would they be?

ON THE WAY

What was one of the most memorable moments of Agenda 21?

Dash across the forbidden center stage.

Which scene was your favorite?

The realization that there were potential free people outside the fence fending for themselves but still free. A foreign concept to the younger ones in the prison colonies.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I was one that already knew fully about the evil of the agenda 21 project before this was written. I had my own ideas what the extreme could look like and frankly, I think it will end up just as bad if not worse. We are going here...there are too many weak minded, takers, in the world now to stop this. I just hope I am dead before it gets too far.

Any additional comments?

Please...even if you do not buy this book, at least look into agenda 21. It is secretly found now in almost every community planning commission. It may be called Agenda 21 or a number of different names. A true sign it is starting is the high density neighborhood. The goal being to force all people into high rise, tightly squeezed housing area. You will not be driving any longer. Stores, business, and homes will be tightly woven into the area to stop car ownership and promote walking only.Animals will acquire "rights" that will be very powerful. There will be huge human free zones, similar to the ones set up for marine right now, that will be positively of limits to humans. Your food, your activity, and health will be judged by government panels and dealt with if out of "their normal".Don't think so...can't happen here...I feel very sorry you will have to live this way. I will never let them do this to me. By the way, this is only the mild part of the Agenda 21 plan.It gets more hideous as they gain more control over the people. Again, it not a theory or a conspiracy, they are starting to implement this across our country and around the world. You can that the wonderful UNITED NATIONS for this!

Rosenberg really sucked me in on this one....had trouble getting anything done because I had to listen to this book. This could easily be occurring right now. I can't imagine what we will do if something like this happens with Obama in charge.

After finishing I immediately downloaded The Tehran Initiative. Hope it is just as captivating.

In his controversial New York Times best seller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, Dinesh D’Souza answered the question on everyone’s mind: why is President Obama hell-bent on seeing America fail? The reason, D’Souza explained, is Obama’s fervent anticolonial ideology. Here, in his blockbuster follow-up, Obama’s America, D’Souza shows how President Obama is applying his anticolonial ideology to unmake America and turn it into a country our founders would hardly recognize.

Where does Obama’s America rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is so important that everyone planning to vote for this snake in the grass listen to or read this book. I have never trusted this leftist clown since the time he started to run for office. This book really told me why my gut was telling me not to. I will forever be greatful to D'souza for risking his life in preparing this exposure of this progressive, anti-colonialist, potentially Marxist president. What Obama has in the cards for us is nothing less than criminal and potentially warrants high crimes and misdemeanors violations nessasary for impeachment. How could we have let someone like this run the great country on earth? He always make me ill to listen to him....now after this book he makes me furious!Hopefully this book is not too late for it to get to the right people to read and discuss. The movie needs put on free tv immediately. Please read this now or go to 2016. The survival of our country depends on it.

Who was your favorite character and why?

None...despise them all.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Obama's secret plan to destroy America's economy and superpower status.

Any additional comments?

Obama...burn in hell!
