I enjoyed this book as I do most all her other books! Was nice to continue the saga in the balance of good and evil. The narrator did the characters justice, having a decent range of voices. What tips me in this series is the characters and their chemistry and passion. I feel the love and tension between them all and it's nice to have in a book of this nature. They storyline was a little wishy washy at times but still good. Overall, great book!

With danger closing in from all sides, the two women must work together to uncover the truth - even if it kills them.

I'm a huge Cari Hunter fan, but I was expecting more from this book. The murder mystery of the book was fantastic, kept me on the edge of my seat!! I absolutely love the narrator! She has an amazing voice and never fails to schmooze my ears and senses. What I didn't like was the romance piece or severely lack there of one. Romance this was not. It all was fairly awkward and kind of a side note. I found myself wondering how did that happen with no lead up, lack of chemistry, and sort of anti climactic. The story would have been just the same with that bit, which says alot. Other than that, the rest of the book was good and still worth the credit!

The first death is only the beginning, though, as the miles of deserted neighborhoods Katrina left behind provide the perfect stage for murder.

I absolutely loved this book! I'm an Ali Vali fan for life and had actually not read this one before. Getting the audio, I think made the book that much more better! The narrator was fantastic conveying emotions and different voices. Some of her accents were a little hanky, but that didnt detract from the overall enjoyment of her voice. The characters were very interesting. Having read many other AV books, it was nice to delve into secondary characters and see how they tied in to other books. Overall, great book and highly recommend it!!

I liked this book even though it was drawn out. What I enjoyed the most was the supportive relationships throughout the book. Coming out and finding one's self is not easy but in the end very rewarding. I expected a little faster of a pace but in a book like this, being patient is key. I absolutely love the narrator tho. Her voice is melodious and easy on the ears. Overall good book!!
