Sisters. Strangers. Survivors. More than twenty years ago, Claire and Lydia's teenaged sister Julia vanished without a trace. The two women have not spoken since, and now their lives could not be more different. Claire is the glamorous trophy wife of an Atlanta millionaire. Lydia, a single mother, dates an ex-con and struggles to make ends meet. But neither has recovered from the horror and heartbreak of their shared loss—a devastating wound that's cruelly ripped open when Claire's husband is killed.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I was kind of skeptical about this audio due to other reviews about it being graphic and dark. Im a big fan of Patricia Cornwell, so Im not a stranger to crime books, but the reviews made it out to be heinous.

I chose to go ahead and listen to it and I was hooked. This is one of those books you cant put down or stop listening to. It was a "GREAT CRIME BOOK!"

"Just a fictional story"

5 out of 5 stars

I thought is was a really good love story....I believe when reading a book you have to have an open mind about it and not compare it to any other book. I say just a fictional story cause some people complain and say that is not how a teenager acts or thinks, but once again its fictional and we all dont think the same. although im no longer a teenager, but a mother of 3 kids reading takes me away from the everyday life of stress and that is what this book has done and i love it.
