Excellent job by the narrator, she brought the characters to life. The story is fast paced and dishes up a few laughs. Also nice Ready Player One reference (I am sure most readers were thinking it)
So all together a fun fast book. Check it out..

Junk is a quick uncomplicated enjoyable sci fi trip through the possible alien within. I think John Waters is the perfect choice to narrate this fun story. It’s as if a friend is telling you a bizarre tale.
Sure I enjoy elaborate dramatic readings of epic battles between good and evil read with intense emotion. Junk is not that type of story. It is what it was supposed to be...fun. Sometimes junk is good and this is one of those times.

Would you listen to Dust World again? Why?

I have a feeling I will listen to this whole series a number of times. I ask myself why? The only reason I can come up with is this book is a no BS straight forward action book with just the right mix of action, story, intrigue, and tech.

Who was your favorite character and why?

James Magill. Hard headed opinionated, impulsive, kick ass corn fed earth man. He has a clear sense of morality and does not hesitate to do what he believes is correct even when it appears to obviously be a bad idea.

What about Mark Boyett’s performance did you like?

I am a fan of a few performers who read some of my favorite books. I now have added Mark Boyette to the top of the list. What a voice. Men, women, young, old, alien or everyday, he brings the characters to life in a believable and entertaining way.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Man has always colonized, we tamed our planet Earth and reached for the stars. Who knew we succeeded. Earth is a class 2 civilization.

Any additional comments?

A cool follow up to the series starter. The books are a easy, enjoyable listen. I know I am going to go through this whole series having a great time.
