I loved "For The Love Of Laura Beth" as it is a beautifully written historical, based on real people real places, fears of polio and cancer. It was an emotional read about real life, real fears and surviving the Korean War. Laura Beth Walters and Joe [Joey] McCall were meant to be together. Laura Beth was courageous, strong and compassionate for the McCall men when Mrs. McCall get very sick. Joey McCall was an ambitious and hard working young man who was drafted during the Korean War. Joey has loved Laura for a long time. Laura gives Joey the best Christmas present when she married him on Christmas. Laura's dad was very upset that she did that. While Joey was serving in the Korean War Laura gave birth to a little girl. After Joey came home from the war they found out that their little girl was sick. Laura was pregnant with their second child. Laura and Joey's love was tested due to everything that was going on. Laura gave birth to a boy and they named him after his daddy. Aubrey Wynne did an awesome job with this Historical book. Thank you Aubrey Wynne for a very beautifully written story!! Thank you Sara K. Sheckells for the awesome job you did in narrating this book!!

Chloe Hicks' life consisted of an egocentric ex-husband, a pile of bills, and an equine business in foreclosure until a fire destroys the stable and her beloved ranch horse. What little hope she has left is smashed after the marshal suspects arson. She escapes the accusing eyes of her hometown, but not the memories and melancholy. Jackson Hahn, Virginia Beach's local historian, has his eyes on the mysterious new woman in town. When she arrives in Pungo, he is struck by her haunting beauty and the raw pain in her eyes. Her descriptions of the odd events happening in her bungalow pique his curiosity.

I have to say that Kevin Archer did an awesome job narrating this book. They way he was able to do the voices for all the characters in the book was awesome and he has a very SEXY voice!!

This book has love, loss, pain and heartache in it. Grace saw what love can do to and for a woman. Her mother passes away after her son and heir Samuel was born. Grace's father was devastated and Grace was forced to take on role of Lady Boldon at the age of fifteen. Grace took care of her dad and her brother. Christopher Roker [Kit] made a name for himself in the military. The life of the army suits him. Then tragedy strikes with a horse riding accident killing Carson [Kit's brother]. Carson was married to Lady Eliza and she was carrying Carson's baby. After the accident Kit; now had a role he never wanted or expected and new responsibilities. The Wicked Earls’ Club becomes his refuge but, it cannot ease his emptiness. To try to escape his brothers memory/reputation, Kit decides to visit the family estate for the summer. What he didn't know was that Lady Grace was also visiting from a neighboring estate and she becomes a welcome distraction for Kit. Kit has a chance to return to the Military life but, he finds himself torn between his old lifestyle and the lure of Grace [who is great and a bit unwilling]. I truly loved this story!! Want to know what happens with Grace, Eliza and Kit? Well buy and read this book.

Talk about a roller coaster ride WOW. A lot of emotions in this book. Olivia Cattenach dealing with the death of her brother Justin in the military over seas and Nate is dealing with the death of a friend as he blames himself for Justin's death as he was Justin's Superior Officer and some PTSD. Then he meets Justin's sister Olivia Cattenach. She manages to get Nate to talk about a lot of stuff he had buried for a long time, then Nate tells Olivia the truth about how her brother Justin died and Olivia insists he tell her everything. The sex scenes between Nate and Olivia were very HOT. If you want to know more about this book you truly need to listen to this book or read this awesome book. I truly loved it!!
