Olive is always unlucky: in her career, in love, in...well, everything. Her identical twin sister, Amy, on the other hand, is probably the luckiest person in the world. Her meet-cute with her fiancé is something out of a romantic comedy (gag), and she’s managed to finance her entire wedding by winning a series of internet contests (double gag). Worst of all, she’s forcing Olive to spend the day with her sworn enemy, Ethan, who just happens to be the best man.

You could figure out what was going to happen as soon as the first couple of chapters went by. its one of those predictable, been told a million times type of story. The reader was okay but i felt like she missed the intended tone of some of the lines. The way she did Ethan's voice was so monotone and it made it hard to really get into that character. There r more ways to read a male characters voice than to just lower it at your lowest octave. Overall, the book was okay, it flowed pretty well, but it's an over-done story that i wouldnt go out of my way to recommend.

For Susan Green, messy emotions don’t fit into the equation of her perfectly ordered life. She has a flat that is ideal for one, a job that suits her passion for logic, and an “interpersonal arrangement” that provides cultural and other more intimate benefits. But suddenly confronted with the loss of her mother and the news that she is about to become a mother herself, Susan’s greatest fear is realized. She is losing control.

I took away a lot of great messages in this book, but i think there was some cultural differences that as an American, seemed weird. For example, the author is really big on talking to your house, your clothes, thanking you socks for a hard days work, then letting them rest in their designated spot. She talks as if clothes have feelings and they feel forgotten and unloved when you dont use them often. im not saying the book is bad, i took some great techniques out of it... just strange at parts.

The message is great, but i felt like the same thing was being said over and over in each chapter. Honestly, uou can read one chapter and not even have to read the rest because he just finds different ways to say the same thing. I guess i was hoping for more meat in this book, not fluff.

I did try and use the followup links for one of his free audio books that he offered at the end, but that link doesn't work anymore so I was a bit bummed about that. but as for content, it was great!
