Harper Connelly never expected to find herself outside of a tattoo parlor at one in the morning. The scars that decorate her back are just one more reminder of things she'd rather forget, the past she wants to leave far behind her. Running was the only thing that saved Harper last time, but each session at Second Circle Tattoos brings her closer and closer to Trent Andrews. His lingering touches seduce her, making her believe in a life without fear, where she can be happy, whole, in love.

Two hearts locked away... Hannah Walker spends her days coaching children through injury and trauma, one therapeutic horseback ride at a time. She knows all too well how violence can change a child and leave scars that never heal. It's easy for her to relate to the kids; what isn't easy is the thought of facing her own harrowing past. Millionaire playboy Stephen McKinney could use a little coaching himself. Five years ago he encountered his most horrible nightmare - and the nightmare won.

Where does Worth the Risk rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It is definitely up in my top ten. I picked this book for my favorite of 2014, the audio is a wonderful companion.

What other book might you compare Worth the Risk to and why?

I think this book is very unique. Not many men would fall for a young widow with four children and another on the way!

Have you listened to any of Johanna Parker’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have never listened to a Johanna Parker perform before , but I'm very glad to see she is narrating the second book in this series, Worth the Risk.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The most traumatic scene for me was when Matt made the split decision to help rescue a man in danger, and hoped Abby would understand.

Ryder is the hardest Montgomery brother to figure out - with a tough-as-nails outside and possibly nothing too soft underneath. He’s surly and unsociable, but when he straps on a tool belt, no woman can resist his sexy swagger. Except, apparently, Hope Beaumont, the innkeeper of his own Inn BoonsBoro.... As the former manager of a D.C. hotel, Hope is used to excitement and glamour, but that doesn’t mean she can’t appreciate the joys of small-town living. She’s where she wants to be - except for in her love life....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, first of all it is a Nora Roberts story, and the third of her Boobesboro Trilogy. I enjoyed Ryder's personality.

What was one of the most memorable moments of The Perfect Hope?

I was very moved by the soliloquy of that one day at Antietam. Ryder was dreaming it but the narration and the words made you feel like you were there. Amazing.

What does MacLeod Andrews bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He has an excellent range. It's more exciting to listen to the words, and his inflections.
Excellent narration.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Small town, three brothers, ghost.

What made the experience of listening to Hard Evidence the most enjoyable?

I had read this novel a couple years ago, and immediately became a Pamela Claire fan. When I heard this was out in audio, I grabbed it. It is spine chilling, romantic and sweet and I couldn't turn it off, even though I had already read the story!

What did you like best about this story?

The growth of the relationship between Kara and Reese. It wasn't a meet and jump in bed kind of thing, although Kara and Margaritas made it close. Also the immediate acceptance of Kara's son by Reese.

What does Kaleo Griffith bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Kaleo Griffith totally brought this story to life! I could listen to him read just about anything. Looking forward to listening to the next I-Team book!

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I laughed, and felt heart racing fear, at different times. Loved the romance.

Any additional comments?

Recommend this series, and applaud Kaleo Griffith on his performance.
