The shots came quickly, silently, and with deadly accuracy. Within seconds, three people were dead at Central Park's ice skating rink. The victims: a talented young skater, a doctor, and a teacher. As random as random can be. Eve Dallas has seen a lot of killers during her time with the NYPSD, but never one like this. After reviewing security videos, it becomes clear that the victims were killed by a sniper firing a tactical laser rifle, who could have been miles away when the trigger was pulled.

Didn't dream NR leaned a little to the left, but that's ok, still like her books. Dallas seemed a bit more emotional than some of the past adventures, and that's a good thing. Really enjoyed the pacing in this story. Another winner.

I had stopped listening to the Reacher series because of the previous narrator, but although Scott Brick does not make my top two(Porter, Guidall), his delivery has grown on me over the years. Reacher has some character flaws(don't we all), I was a little surprised when he dispatched his namesake. This (imho) wasn't the best in the series, it seemed a little unfocused at times, but I will probably get the next in the series.

I have read all of the MR novels, but this one was a letdown, but not enough to ask for a refund. Hoping for better offerings in the future

But I like Lisa Jackson and will buy more of her titles.

Very good but not great-a couple of minor stumbles(wasn't aware there was a melody to the Lord is my shepherd) somewhere around chapter 20, and "wasn't sure how Adam Ford ?fitted? into the picture." But as usual it kept me involved. Was a little surprised by the cliffhanger, but a good series, awaiting the next one.
