Odd Thomas is back where it all started…because the time has come to finish it. Since he left his simple life in the small town of Pico Mundo, California, his journey has taken him to places strange and wonderful, mysterious and terrifying. Across the land, in the company of mortals and spirits alike, he has known kindness and cruelty, felt love and loss, saved lives and taken them - as he's borne witness to humanity's greatest good and darkest evil.

Topic was under developed. Final was rushed. For example...what happened with the urn containing the biological weapon.

On Manhattan’s Upper East Side, a woman lies dead at the bottom of a brownstone’s basement steps, stripped of all her valuables. Most cops might call it a mugging gone wrong, but Lieutenant Eve Dallas knows better. A well-off accountant and a beloved wife and mother, Marta Dickenson doesn’t seem the type to be on anyone’s hit list. But when Eve and her partner, Peabody, find blood inside the brownstone, she knows Marta’s murder is the work of a killer who’s trained, yet not professional or smart enough to remove all the evidence.

I love the way the characters come alive. The imagery is so good you can actually "see" the action as it happens. And it was so very smart the way the action mixes to give an exciting ending to the Icove Agenda movie, and to the actual case.

He's the most unlikely hero you'll ever meet, an ordinary guy with a modest job you might never look at twice. But there's so much more to any of us than meets the eye, and that goes triple for Odd Thomas. For Odd lives always between two worlds in the small desert town of Pico Mundo, where the heroic and the harrowing are everyday events. Odd never asked to communicate with the dead, it's something that just happened.

Would you consider the audio edition of Forever Odd to be better than the print version?

Both are excellent. I prefer audio edition because I can enjoy my book while doing other things. And, because the performance bring characters alive in my mind.

What other book might you compare Forever Odd to and why?

Odd Thomas....because the story line, characters and, of course, the performance.

Which character – as performed by David Aaron Baker – was your favorite?

Odd Thomas

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me cry. It also made me have deep thoughts about life, innocence, pretences, and death.,

Any additional comments?

Looking forward for more books in this series, and to explore other Dean Koontz books.
