this book was so disjointed even the narrator couldn't make it better. it drags and uses many cliches I felt like I was reading several other bad books. the protagonist is a whiny boy. The military leaders are copies of every was film ever produced.

What would have made Hearts and Minds better?

A realistic portrayal of the characters. I'm a long time fan and hate that the Captain Picard in the "novel" is completely different then the Picard I have become accustomed to.

Has Hearts and Minds turned you off from other books in this genre?

No

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Robert Petkoff?

It might be the writing instead of the narrator but I cannot differentiate the two.

What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?

disappointment and disgust

Any additional comments?

I won't read anything else from this author.

What would have made Deathless Collection: Books 1-3 and the Prequel Novella better?

It would be better if it was never written.

Has Deathless Collection: Books 1-3 and the Prequel Novella turned you off from other books in this genre?

Yes, I was not a huge fan before now I have now desire to read any of it.

Would you be willing to try another one of Ryan Kennard Burke’s performances?

not in this genre

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Deathless Collection: Books 1-3 and the Prequel Novella?

everything, especially the The Six Million Dollar Man reference "better, stronger, faster..." Someone should sue this author.

Any additional comments?

I can't get this weekend back. I just can't but I can get the credit.

I cannot understand why most fantasy stories that starts out well must continue with an unexpected pregnancy. Yes being a father helps with character growth but it also can stunt the characters. I found that when a character becomes a parent prematurely (for no reason) takes away from the story and I lose interest quickly.
Sean Runnette was the reason I stuck through to the end but it was difficult. I won't be reading book 2,3,4...
