I learned the hard way that being a handywoman isn't easy. The questions, the stares - the assumption that I'm the proud owner of a cock and balls. Not that it matters. I've proven over and over that I'm ready for anything the judgmental asses throw at me. Except the hot, single dad of twins who just moved to town. Brantley Cooper gets the shock of his life when I show up on his doorstep to fix up his kids' new rooms. His son is confused why 'the pretty lady has a drill,' and his daughter has a new obsession - me. On paper, my job is easy. Go in, do their bedrooms, and leave.

This was my first Emma Hart book and is my absolute favorite. I love this story. A hot, single dad. A Sassy, talented woman. Both think they know exactly what they want out of life. Kali is a fabulous and hilarious character. I love how determined she is to maintain her dislike of kids and family life even as she falls for Brant and the twins. Brantley was a great guy - trying to start over but being outnumbered made life challenging. Neither was looking for a relationship but then slowly fall into one. This is a very funny and heartwarming story.

The narrator does a great job bringing these characters to life - it was exactly how I pictured them!

Wow - so much happened in this story! Willow was everything I had hoped she would be: strong, smart, and determined. Despite his questionable background, Caleb was a great match for Willow. It took some time for them to trust each other and for his whole back story to get sorted out. Once it did, they made a really good team. I loved seeing Wendy & Cole and the rest of the Graysons. The insights into Willow's mom was a welcome back story that we didn't get until now. Loved the nail-biting that happens near the end which made the ending even more sweet. This is a great addition to the series!

The narrator really brought these characters to life.

This is a super cute story and these are some of my favorite characters in this series. I loved these two even though I wanted to smack Steven for taking so long to realize what was right in front of him. He was infuriatingly stuck in the past and almost missed what he currently had. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ginny - super shy characters are some of my favorites and Gin was perfect. I loved how they brought the best out of each other and were really a great pair. Ginny was absolutely adorable and Steven came to love her for it.

This narrator really nailed these two - with a smooth voice I especially thought she captured the super shy Ginny. She was able to nail the other characters as well.
