Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

No. I loved the first one. This one yea... not so good

What do you think your next listen will be?

A search will tell

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kate Rudd?

Someone who doesn't seem so desperate.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

No.

Any additional comments?

I loved the first book. She was a survivor. I was waiting for a superior twosome. This book is escape... caught constantly over and over again... boring. Yuck. Where did the strong survivor go. This book is filler and nothing else. No substantial story. Sorry I ever got involved in this series. Gripping story terrible author.

What did you love best about Allegiant?

It did not leave me with unanswered questoins as some other trilogies have. I wasn't left with now what??? another book?

What was one of the most memorable moments of Allegiant?

Well!!! I don't want to spoil it! But, when Tobis returns to the compound near the end of the book.

Have you listened to any of Emma Galvin and Aaron Stanford ā€™s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Only from this trilogy.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Tris's trade with her brother.

Any additional comments?

I know several readers have said this book was a disappointment. I almost did not bother. Glad I did. Yes it was sad. But, really Roth did the series justice. No one wants to have one of the main characters pass. I have to say in every book some one was lost Tris's parents died for her FOR LOVE!!! why should this book be any different. Proud of you Veronica Roth sometime there is a bigger point to be made than LOVE CONQUER's ALL.
Fallen Pride, Sacrifice, Love, Truth, Hard Choices, Family, Self Worth, Doubt, & Knowledge it is all in this book.

What made the experience of listening to My Blood Approves the most enjoyable?

I really enjoyed the story line. I am a huge fan of the Twiglight series and this book seemed to be more compatable with that story line than any others I have read. However, it does have an original plot of it's own. I am hoping the story will continue with a sequel. The characters are intresting and easy to get involved in.

What other book might you compare My Blood Approves to and why?

Twilight series. Vampire, Human, Forbiden love. Family complications. Vampire law complications.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Hannah Friedman?

Hannah's voice was annoying. she tried very hard to convey emotions but for her it was futile. Again the girl who narrarated Twilight. She did a super great job. Please if there is another book in this series, get a different narrator. Hannah Friedman is not very good at all.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When she was told of the story about leaving your loved ones behind.Alice was taken to the house where the female vampires daughter lived and told the heartbreaking story of not being apart of your own childrens lives. I almost cried. I have a 5 year old daughter and I could imagine the devistation of being an outsider in her life.

Any additional comments?

Some Twilight fans may scoff at this book because Twilight is so wonderful. But if you are looking for a little more of the same you will most likely love this book.

Would you consider the audio edition of Oh. My. Gods. to be better than the print version?

I love audio books. My job is mostly filing and data entry. So, I spend most of my day listening to books from audible. This book is told in first person and is like sitting across the table from the main character and getting a first hand account of her life.

What other book might you compare Oh. My. Gods. to and why?

I listened to Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini first. That book got me intrested in the whole Demigod's kick so I started looking for books with Demigods in them and Oh My Gods popped up. I think Tera Lynn Childs should get royalties from Starcrossed because it seemed apparent to me where Josephine Angelini got her idea.

Which scene was your favorite?

I had a lot of favorite scenes. So as not to spoil the listen I will keep them to my self.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

How to survive a school full of kids who are the descendents of Greek Gods.

Any additional comments?

I know this book is targeted at the tween's. But I don't care if you need a feel good story with just enough supernatural to ground you Read Oh My Gods by Tera Lynn Childs.
