Payback was my first book by Amy Daws and I’m looking forward to reading more- especially about those Harris brothers! I thought this was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed the writing style.

Allie Harris has had a rough go of it recently. Her long term relationship ended in the worst way you could imagine. Nothing is worse than a cheating ex, except maybe if they cheat with someone close to you. Allie went to England to visit family for a wedding and comes up with a plan… it’s not the brightest plan, but at the time, she only has revenge on the mind.

Roan Dewalt unknowingly takes part in this plan. He and Allie have a beyond memorable night and then they don’t see each other for about 2 years. Allie then moves from Chicago to London and she and Roan reconnect. Things between them are amazing, but Allie has this secret she’s been holding on to for years, and she’s terrified to let it out…

Honestly, there were times I thought this was going to be a 5 star book because I just loved the heck out of it, but then there were times I wanted to rate it a 3 or below because of a major plot point... Ultimately, I was satisfied by the way it was handled and went with a 4.

This book was narrated by Aaron Shedlock and Erin Mallon with multi-cast performances by Will Watt and Charlotte Cole. It was so cool to not only have duet narration for the main characters, but have a full cast for all the secondary characters. Audio books are my favorite way to read anymore and when the narration is so good, it makes the listening that much better!

Overall, this was a highly entertaining read that was sexy, fun, and romantic. I loved the hero and the setting of the story so much. I can’t wait to read more from this series!

Black Sheep was my first book by Meghan March and I can see why readers love her. Her writing is addicting and the story line of this book kept me intrigued all the way through. And that ending… Holy wow. I can’t wait to get to the second part of this duet! I’m so happy it’s coming next month!

This story follows Drew Carson who is a journalist going undercover looking for answers. She tries to find them by getting a job at Cannon Freeman’s club. Cannon is the black sheep of the Casso crime family, but he’s still her best shot at finding answers. What Drew doesn’t expect is to start to fall for him. Drew turn’s Cannon’s world upside down. He’s thinking things he’s never thought and feeling things he’s never felt. But learning the truth about her… it may change everything.

I listened to the audio version of this book and it was narrated by two of my favorites, Andi Arndt and Sebastian York. As always, they did an incredible job narrating this. These two always seem to bring their characters to life and keep the story flowing perfectly and I love listening to books narrated by them.

Reading Black Sheep kept me on the edge of my seat. It was captivating, suspenseful, and steamy. I am excited to listen to the next book in this series and I’ll definitely be checking out more from Meghan March in the future!

After a bad breakup, Tiffy Moore needs a place to live. Fast. And cheap. Desperation makes her open-minded, so she answers an ad for a flatshare. Leon, a night-shift worker, will take the apartment during the day, and Tiffy can have it nights and weekends. He’ll only ever be there when she’s at the office. In fact, they’ll never even have to meet. Tiffy and Leon start writing each other notes. Even though they are opposites, they soon become friends. And then maybe more. But falling in love with your roommate is probably a terrible idea...especially if you've never met.

I almost can’t believe that The Flatshare is a debut novel. Beth O’Leary delivered an original and fun to read romance that I adored.

Tiffy is looking for a place to live in London after another break up with her on again, off again ex-boyfriend Justin. The problem is, she can’t afford much. When she sees an ad for a Flatshare with a guy who works nights and is away on weekends, she jumps at it. Even if it does seem a bit odd at first.

Leon is a hospice nurse who works nights and is looking for some extra cash to help his brother. Renting out his flat is a quick and easy way to make it. He and Tiffy share the flat and the bed and even though they haven’t met in person, they quickly get to know each other.

The notes they write back and forth are adorable. It was one of my favorite things about this story. I loved the build up and the anticipation of when they would finally meet. And let me tell you... their first meeting didn’t disappoint.

Both Tiffy and Leon were exceptional characters. There were also some great secondary characters (Leon’s brother being my favorite). This book is a lovely romance, but it’s more than that. It’s a story of finding yourself and coming into your own. It’s beautiful, unique and complex.

I listened to the audio version of this story and the narrators were great. It was easy to listen to, well Tiffy’s chapters anyways. Leon’s chapters were hard to get used to. They’re written differently and are very choppy. It was difficult to get past that at first, but by the end I hardly noticed.

The Flatshare is a sweet and charming romance, but it also has a good bit of emotion and deals with some heavier topics. Overall, I truly loved it. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

After finishing the first book in this series, I couldn't wait to jump into this one and see how it concluded. Presley and Dom's story has a lot of back and forth and it could be a little messy, but by the end I was completely satisfied.
Dominic is Presley's boss and sometimes lover and it's all very confusing for her. Don't worry, it's confusing for him as well. Dom was burned by a woman before and now he's a single dad who doesn't trust easily. Just as he was starting to let Presley in during the last book a misunderstanding happened and that trust was broken. Now it must be rebuilt.

I loved Dom and Presley together. Dom's back and forth attitude gave me whiplash at times, but I was happy when he finally got together. He and Presley were a great pairing. My favorite part of this duet was seeing them together with Dom's kids. It was just adorable.

If you're looking for a sexy and intriguing story, pick this duet up. I listened to the audio and really enjoyed it.

Dear Sexy AF Intern, I know you don't care that I'm the CEO of this company, and you're just an intern. I also know you're not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that's fine. You think you've got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don't know me. Not really. You don't know that I'm a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain. I'm not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we're in the same room.

Holy cliffhanger. All I can say is thank goodness the second book is out and I can jump right in, because I would have hated waiting after the end of this book! The Two Week Arrangement is a duet from Kendall Ryan featuring CEO Dominic and his new intern, Presley.

CEO and single dad. I'm here for it. When Presley starts her internship, she's not expecting to be mentored by the CEO himself, but when Dom sees Presley, he can't stay away. Presley has 2 weeks of this internship to prove herself. In those 2 weeks she and Dom grow close in more ways than just working. Their sexual tension is off the charts and though they both try to stay away for their own reasons, the pull they have is irresistible.

I listened to the audio book of The Two Week Arrangement and it was the perfect narration. I mean, with Jacob Morgan and Andi Arndt you can't go wrong. They voiced Dom and Presley flawlessly and I highly recommend checking this out in audio format.

Kendall Ryan's books are always short, sexy, somewhat predictable, easy reads. And that's why I love them. They're usually stand-alones but I liked the little twist at the end of this one and I'm jumping into the conclusion ASAP!

Handsome, charismatic, genius - his image is pure millennial-marketing gold for the White House. There's only one problem: Alex has a beef with the actual prince, Henry, across the pond. It’s been a while since I’ve read a debut novel that was THIS GOOD. I foresee this book being one of my very top favorites of the year, I loved it that much! This is a story about the first son, Alex and the Prince of England, Henry. They aren’t friends, in fact, they hate each other. Enemies to lovers… I’m always here for it! I seriously could not have loved this book more. It was perfection.

Let’s start with Alex. Alex’s mom is the first female president of the United States of America and her 2020 reelection campaign is coming up. Alex is very involved politically, and wants to focus on that as soon as he graduates from college. Alex goes to England with the first family and runs into his nemesis, Henry. There is an… incident in England that isn’t good for either of them.

Alex Claremont-Diaz and Prince Henry Windsor have to pretend to be friends. It’s the only way to save face. But soon enough, their friendly meet ups and constant texting turns into a true friendship. Then feelings start to come into play. I love the obsession these two have with each other as enemies, friends, and more

And then… and then… Henry kisses Alex, and everything changes. Henry has always been gay, but being the Prince, he’s never been allowed to be himself. With Alex, he can be. And Alex always thought he was straight, but looking back into his past, he realizes he’s been bisexual for quite some time. He just didn’t realize it. There is definitely a progression of Alex finding himself and coming to terms with who he is and for Henry, deciding how he wants his future to be. He’s torn between need and obligation. It’s not easy for him.

Back to the Alex and Henry love fest… The emails, the texting, any communication between Alex and Henry was exceptional. Alex and Henry together was everything. Their romance was the best. I swooned so hard for these boys.

Alex was by far my favorite character of the book, but Henry was amazing as well. I also loved the secondary characters. The White House Trio and Henry’s bestie and sister. Love love love! Lets just be clear here for a second, there wasn’t anything I didn’t love about this book!

This book was so freaking funny. I can’t count the times I laughed out loud while reading. It was also swoony, sexy, smart, and sweet. I loved it so hard and you will hear me recommending it to any and everyone once it releases! Seriously, this book left me with the biggest smile on my face and the happiest heart. A top favorite of the year for me, Red, White & Royal Blue is a must read!!

This novella was too short and I personally think it would have been better as a novel. There is so much more I wanted to see and know about. Not for Me is my first book by Kat de Falla, as well as my first audiobook narrated by Sullie Mason. I’m happy to report that I enjoyed this romance. The narrator wasn’t my favorite (a bit over the top at times), but she grew on me voicing Manda.

This story is about a literary agent named Manda who wants it all. She wants the man, the perfect manuscript, the perfect life. When she meets her new neighbor, she thinks she may have just hit the jackpot… but things aren’t always as they seem.

I enjoyed this chick lit romance. It was a lighter read but had just enough emotion to keep me invested.
