Cal Cronin wanted more. Writing for more than 20 years, he’s ready to hit it big. But when a new writer comes to the market in 2011, during the biggest ebook boom, Cal is not one to be eclipsed so easily. He wants to know who this mysterious writer is and how he is able to capture the human condition. Along with his lackey, Cronin will discover that the most terrifying thing about creativity is the loss of self that comes with it.

The writer for this story was pretty good, I love the attention to detail and how he expressed the characters. although I couldn't really connect with the characters all so much, I do love the ending even though I felt it could have been a bit longer.

The performance by Michael is as always top notch, the amount of expression he adds to every character is very unique along with the effects he adds makes me wanting to listen to more.

Overall the Audible was a good read! I enjoyed the work of both!

Attempted murder gives a man his family back. It's everything he's ever wanted, but he can't forget what he did. And the longer he holds the secret, the more control he loses to the darkness whispering in his ear. It craves violence and can't be silenced forever. The line between truth and lies is disappearing. And with it, the difference between right and wrong.

What an outstanding book! There were several moments where I was so engulfed into the story I found myself cheering for the characters to finally make up with each other. Until I think everything is okay it pulls a 180. Then it was until the end, is what had me stunned.

The performance was fantastic. Really well done voices and I seriously loved the effects used occasionally. I highly recommend this audible.
